Part 4 - date me?

Sapphire's p.o.v
The lights finally dimmed in the movie theater and everybody went quiet. The movie started and Ethan at first was hesitant to put his arm around me, but did, which in a way, gave me a sense of security. The whole time me and him were cuddled up and I don't think either of us realized until the movie was over. Grayson and Mia walked ahead of us and before we could leave Ethan pulled me back and handed me his phone. At first I was confused and then realized he wanted my number. I typed it in and then texted him hey so I didn't have to say mine too. After that we both ran out, trying to catch up with Mia and Grayson.

When we all walked out my hands were shaking, even though I wasn't scared. Ethan laughed at me, of course, obviously realizing that my hands were shaking.
"What?" I said in a high pitched, whinny voice.
"Nothing" he chuckled.
We continued to walk out of the movies and I looked at my phone realizing that it was already 7:00pm and I hadn't eaten dinner yet.
"I'm hungry" I say
Everybody looks at me weirdly and Mia says, "didn't you literally eat not even 5 minutes ago?"
"No, I finished my snack as soon as the movie started"
That made everybody laugh and then Ethan said, "I am kind of hungry too, we should go get something to eat"
"Fineeee, whatever" Mia whined.

We all walked out and Ethan and Grayson started to walk to their cars. Me and Mia looked at each other and looked back at them.
"Um... we got a taxi here, is there any way you could drive us?" I said awkwardly
"Sure" Ethan shrugged.
Mia and Grayson decided to sit in the back and Ethan drove while I sat in the passenger seat next to him.
"So where are we going for dinner?" Mia asked, popping her head out from the back.
I shrugged and said, "I heard there was a nice restaurant a block away from the movies, do you want to go there?"
"Sure I guess" Mia said.
I looked at Ethan and Grayson and they both nodded.
On the way out of nowhere Ethan kept placing his hand on my thigh, and throughout the whole ride he kept looking at me. Not in a creepy way, in a way that a boyfriend would look at his girlfriend.
Ethan's p.o.v
I don't know it was possible to fall so quickly for someone, but within two days, two wonderful days I think I have fallen for Sapphire.
Sapphire's p.o.v
When we pulled up to the restaurant we all got out and walked in. The restaurant was filled with people and I was thinking about just leaving until the person at the counter asked us how many.
"4" Grayson replied.
"Your seats should be ready in 10 minutes, in the meantime you can sit in the waiting room" says the women.
We all sit down and as we do Ethan sits next to me, grabbing my hand, and then picking up his phone.
My phone beeps and I look at it, wondering who it could be.
Ethan: meet me outside in 5?
Me: okay?
5 minutes later...
I walked outside and saw Ethan standing under a streetlight near the front of the restaurant, I looked at him, confused.
He said nervously, as if it was the most important thing ever, that could wreck his life, "will you be my girlfriend"
I was totally shocked, I mean I only meant him a couple days ago, but (I know it sounds cliche) I feel like I've known him forever. His nervous expression turns even more nervous when I don't answer, and I realize my mistake and say "OF COURSE!" I little to loudly.
He picks me up and kisses me on the lips, then placing me back on the ground.
When we come back in we realize that Mia and Grayson are not waiting in the area. I check my phone to see if Mia sent me anything and I see, we got seated we are at the very back of the restaurant, in a booth.
We wonder around a little, me holding Ethan's hand, and finally see them waving me over.
I sit down next to Ethan and continue holding his hand, while Mia and Grayson look at us weirdly.
Me and Ethan both look at each other and say "we are dating now!"
"THATS SO GREAT!"
We both smile and continue to look at the menus to decide what to eat.

We finally leave the restaurant and walk to the car hand in hand. We sit in the same seat as before and on the way there I look back and see Grayson continually looking at Mia, I hope they date soon.

We go to the Dolan's house and decide that we should stay the night, since it's already 9 and we have no school tomorrow. I text my mom saying can I stay the night at a friends?
Mom: yea sure, I'll see you tomorrow afternoon right?
Me: yea, goodnight mom
Mom: goodnight
I turn off my phone and say, "she said yes"
"So did my mom" says Mia.
"Okay" grayson and Ethan say in unison.
We all decide to watch another movie and I, of course, cuddle up against Ethan and soon fall asleep.
This has been the best day ever...

I think I already may be in love with Sapphire...
