Part 21 - JUST LISTEN!

I have tried to come up with multiple reasonable explanations for what just happened but I can't think of anything that works. Each time I just become more depressed and lost in myself. Yesterday, JUST YESTERDAY, he gave me this whole speech about how much I had to suffer through his coma, how he can't imagine what it was like and how much he loves me. Now all I can think about is that he was just talking crap. He just wanted to build me up so he could break me apart.
I run into my room and slam the door behind me, pressing my back against it and sliding down. I put my head and my hands and begin to cry. Somehow my phone fell out of my pocket and is know constantly beeping with messages and ringing with calls. Each one is from Ethan, and through my house I can hear Mia and Grayson asking where I am. I hear loud thumping up the stairs before there is a knock on my door.
"WHAT!" I yell
"Saph...?" Mia questions
"What is it!?" I slightly yell, but comes out more as a whisper
"Are you okay"
"Just peachy" I say sarcastically
"He's here"
"WHOS HERE, I don't freaking want to talk to ANYBODY!"
There's a slight pause before she says "Ethan"
"NOOOOO" I scream "tell him to leave I don't want to talk to him"
"Please, he told us his part of the story, just listen"
"No" I whisper
I hear Mia sigh before she walks off and I hear Grayson track behind her. I stay there thinking until not even a minute later there's another tap on my door.
"WHAT NOW!"
"It's Ethan" I hear him say through the door so quietly I can barely hear
"Go away"
"No not until you let me explain"
"Explain what? THERES NOTHING TO EXPLAIN"
"Why I was there and who she was"
I roll my eyes, but reluctantly stand up and open the door
"2 minutes that's it"
He walks in and sits on the edge of my bed nodding.
I save my hand as if telling him to talk now
"So obviously when I left I went to the mall-"
"What was the phone call about then?" I interrupt
He sighs but answers "I'll get to that"
"Anyway" he continues "My sister called me on the phone and asked if me and Gray could hang out since she was home from college. I said Gray was asleep so she asked if I could go. I said sure until she said she wanted to go to the mall and I disagreed, probably the part that you heard. She continued on and eventually persuaded me to go. I left and when I got there I decided to buy you gifts for Valentine's Day, considering Cameron was there and she's a girl so she might know what you like. After that we got hungry and decided to go eat at the food court, but she said she forgot her money and went outside to her car. I sat there continuing to eat until this random girl came up to me and started flirting I obviously was disgusted and tried to tell her I had a girlfriend. She then touched my arm and I said to her that if she doesn't leave soon my girlfriend will come in and not be happy at all. Explaining to her that she should be scared. She obviously got the hint and her face expression dropped. I smiled/smirked from stopping the entire situation. But then you saw and I knew instantly what it looked like. I hope you can forgive me, it was just a misunderstanding."
He stops and my eyes are filled with tears. I try to debate sheathed or not to believe him and decide he is most likely falling the truth. Plus why would he lie to me know when he's never done it before. I wrap my arms around his neck and snuggle up against him.
"Of course I believe you, I'm sorry I acted so rationally"
"It's okay" he says kissing my forehead "I would too"
