Part 26 - SURPRISE #2

Sapphires p.o.v
After we ate pizza we all decided to sit in the hotel room and watch a movie. I cuddle with Ethan on the one couch while Mia and Grayson cuddle on the one across from us. We all get comfy and decide to watch a scary movie because we already wanted to scare the crap out of ourselves. We turn off the lights and turn the sound to 30.
Ethan wraps his arm around me and I lay my head on his neck. The movie starts and I curl up into a tight ball making sure to put my feet in the couch so nothing "gets me." Ethan laughs realizing what I did.

Half way through the movie Mia and Grayson are some how already asleep. We decided to just turn the movie off since it was 10 already and I was somehow kind of tired. We wake Mia and Grayson up by smacking them both in the face with a pillow. Mia stands up and hits me back, scoffing and sticking her middle finger at me.
"Caught it and I'm throwing it back at you" I laugh sticking my finger back up at her.
"HEY, THATS MY CATCH PHRASE"
"Not anymore"
"Whatever" she says rolling her eyes.
Gray and Mia leave after our "wonderful conversation" and me and E decide that we should probably go to bed. We agreed to go to the beach early again tomorrow so I need my beauty sleep.
I go into the bathroom and get into my pajamas and then brush my teeth. I go and get into bed already seeing Ethan laying down playing on his phone. "Whatcha doing" I say looking at it
"Nothing just texting my dad how things are going"
"I never really had a relationship with my dad, he left when I was little" I say looking down
"I'm sorry" he says hugging me and kissing my forehead
I nod my head no "it's not your fault"
He doesn't say anything so we both lay down under the covers and I'm about to fall asleep when I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I cuddle into him and fall asleep.

The next morning I wake up to Ethan not there. I go into the kitchen and smell pancakes. YES! "PANCAKES!" I tell running up to him. "YES!"
"Yup their almost done"
"Okay" I smile.
I stand next to him watching it. I'm so hungry it's not even funny.
He finally finishes making them and I sit down at the table. "YES, I'm so freaking hungry" I say picking up the pancake not bothering to even use silverware.
All he does is laugh and started to eat.

Once we finished I go into the bathroom to get ready for the day. I take a shower and then realize that I have no shampoo. Crap. I yell for Ethan.
"BABE!"
"YEAH?" he yells back
"I HAVE NO SHAMPOO CAN YOU GET ME SOME PLEASE"
"SURE BE RIGHT THERE"
The door open seconds later and I forgot I was in the shower. I quickly tell him to close his eyes and he hesitates before doing it. Oh god.
"Here"
"Thanks" I say awkwardly.
Ugh so much freaking tension. And awkwardness. I hate this I should of asked him. He leaves and I finish starting to get dressed.
I go out to see him already ready.
"Are you ready for the beach"
"Yup" I say popping the p

We head to the beach and when we get there I see a note on a blanket.
"What's this I ask him"
He walks over to it and hands it to me. I start to read it:
Sapphire you make me so happy and I want to make you happy too. I know that you have talked about wanting this for so long and I want to help you take care of it. I think it will grow our relationship further, and honestly I think it would be good practice for kids;) here you go. Remember I love you so much and I hope you enjoy the gift as much as o enjoy being your boyfriend.
I turn around and see Ethan holding a dog. A Bernese Mountain Dog to be precise. I start to cry and sit down.
"Oh my god" I cry "thank you so much" I stand up and kiss him before taking the dog from his hands. It licks my face and I smile.
"I love him, I loved the note, and I love you"
"I love you too" he says and smiles seeing me happy.
I hug the dog and smile walking back to the car with him. No wonder he wanted to go the beach so much
