Part 17 - if only...

Sapphires p.o.v
As we pulled up to the movies I couldn't help but think about what could happen. Whether he would even try to draw back the memories is making me anxious. I just want him to remember everything.
"The tickets are on me" I say as I pull out my money.
"No, it's fine" he says pushing my hand down and handing money to the cashier before I could protest.
"Do you want a snack?" I ask him
"Yea, I guess, maybe just some soda"
I nod and go up the person I order a large popcorn and 2 sodas. Before he even has a chance to think I give the money to the cashier.
"That makes us equal" I say as I grab the drinks.
When we are walking to the theater I try to put a piece of popcorn in my mouth but miss.
"Ugh" I groan
"What happened?" He says somewhat concerned.
Awe he cares. "I just dropped my popcorn"
"How much" he says looking at the bin
"ONE KERNEL!" I shout a little to loudly
He laughs as everybody looks at us "oh perk up you still have a full thing left"
I nod as we enter the theater room.

The lights go dark and the movie begins to play. Since we were watching the same movie we watched the first time I was pretty bored. I picked this so he would have some realizations.
My phone beeps and I look down to see a message from Mia.
Mia: how's everything going
I make my screen lighter as I text her back
Me: good I guess
Mia: tell me when your done, and come over to tell me everything
Me: k.
I put down my phone and continue to watch the movie. I feel Ethan's hand move to the armrest where my arm is. If he thinks he is resting his arm on this, so help-
Oh my, oh mg, oh my! He just freaking held my hand. His hand is holding mine. WHAT IF HE REMEMBERS. I hope he does, this is a sign, right?
Ethan's p.o.v
As the movie slowly starts to progress I notice that I have watched it before I just don't know when. As I look over at Sapphire I can obviously tell that she's bored. I place my hand on the armrest where hers is and when she's not paying attention I interlock my fingers with her.
I can see that she was surprised and I chuckled to myself. Then I feel this spark, and I get butterflies in my stomach.
I barely know this girl, how am I falling for her already. But yet there's something so familiar about her, but for the life of me I just can't place my mind around it.
Sapphires p.o.v
The room lit up again and from the middle to the end of the movie me and Ethan were holding hands. I could feel my hands getting sweaty and I felt nervous. I forgot what I was like to hold his hand. I'm falling for him even more than I was the first time, and I didn't think that was possible.

When we get into the car Ethan turns to me.
He has this confused look on his face and then he says, "I feel like I know you, I just don't know from where"
When he said that my heart fluttered. He can be remembering.
I shrug and look down, "You do" I whisper "I love you" I say barely audible.
His head snaps up and I smack myself in the face. To soon. To freaking soon.
"What did you say...?" He questions confused
"I said... uh... I knew you...?" I say in more of a question than a statement.
He shakes his head, "I must be going crazy, I thought you said I love you"
I laugh nervously, "no"
As were driving I think about what I said. Ugh why did I say that? BECAUSE I STILL LOVE HIM.
The car stops abruptly. "Oh crap, did I say that out loud?" I say in the tiniest voice ever
He nods wide eyed and says, "you obviously know me, please tell me what's going on"
He faces me and I nod an okay.
