Part 16 - beautiful

Sapphires p.o.v
When I get home I see my mom in the kitchen.
"Hi mom" I mumble already walking up the stairs
"Honey what's matter"
"Nothing" I say before walking upstairs and slamming my door
I flip onto my bed and sigh looking up at the ceiling. I knew that he would eventually let out memories slip but I didn't think it would be this soon. I have no idea how I am going to get him to remember the good memories. Then it hits me. I should take him to the movies, which was our first official date. I decide to call Mia and ask her what she thinks.
Mia: hey what's wrong
Me: question
Mia: okay what is it
Me: do you think it would help E if I took him to the movies were we technically had our first official date.
Mia: yes
*grayson screaming in the background*: YES
Me: okay
I hang up the phone and text his mom telling her if it was okay if I took him to the movies. Seconds later she responds and says sure.
I straighten my hair and put it up in a messy bun and just put on some foundation, concealer, eye shadow, mascara, and highlighter. I little lighter than what I usually do.
When I walk downstairs my mom is gone and I see a note on the table besides the front door.
I hope you calm down, I went out to get grocery's I should be back in an hour.

I put it down and grab my keys leaving the house and texting my mom
Me: mom why didn't you just text me
Mom: I didn't feel like it.
Me: okay... well I'm going to the movies
Mom: okay.
I put down my phone and start heading to Ethan's I hope this works.

When I get to the door I start feeling nervous and I knock. Seconds later Gray and Mia are at the door.
"Hey" I say
"HI SAPH" Mia yells
I laugh and say "where's E"
"Upstairs" Gray says
"ETHAN!" He yells
Minutes later he walks down the stairs looking extremely confused.
"What I was sleeping"
"Saph is here"
"Who's she?"
"YOUR GIRLFRIEND! Now go get your shoes and go tot he movies with her"
"But I don't know her"
"Just go" he sighs
I don't know why but when he said he didn't know me I just wanted to cry.
I held it back and said "I'll wait the car"

When Ethan comes out he has a weird expression in his face and just sits in the car. I start driving and nobody talks until I say, "how's your head"
"It hurts" he mumbles
Without even thinking I say "you seriously don't remember me"
All of the sudden his face expression goes from weird to smug and he said "I think I would have remembered somebody as beautiful as you"
I blush and look down "thank you" I mumble "but you do know me"
He doesn't say anything and looks forward and the car goes silent once again. I hope this isn't awkward. I don't know what I will do if he doesn't even know the slightest bit about how we met.
