Sapphires p.o.v
As soon as the words came out of Mia's mouth I became shocked but then so excited. We've been best friends for 16 years and I never thought we'd be having a kid around the same time, let alone at 18. The rest of the day we just sit on the couch watching Netflix and eating. We go to the doctors tomorrow for our first check up.
I cuddle into E the whole time and when the movie (the 4th one of the day) ends me and Ethan go up to bed. We moved in together after the trip and so did Mia and Gray. They left after the 3rd one was over because they wanted to go "cuddle."
When we go into our room I go the bathroom to go change into my pajamas. While I'm taking off my makeup E comes in and wraps his arms around my waist, snuggling his head in the crook of my neck.
"Hi baby"
"Hi, I'll be in, in a minute"
"Okay, I'm going to go get something to eat real quick do you want anything" he mumbles into my neck
"No I'm good"
"Okay"
He kisses me before walking away into the kitchen. When I'm done brushing my teeth, taking off my makeup, and getting into my pajamas, I grab the remote and go cuddle underneath the covers. A few minutes goes by and Ethan walks into the room holding a plate of pineapple pizza (of course, even at 12:00 at night) and then a bowl of goldfish (my favorite). Even though I didn't ask for anything he probably knew I was going to ask for them soon.
He goes into bed and goes under the covers wrapping his arms around my waist and cuddling up against me. Alaska jumps on the foot of the bed, circling around before finally getting comfortable. I start to drift off to sleep and hear E say faintly, "i Love you princess, one day this family will be even bigger" I slightly smile and then fall asleep.
The next day...
I wake up to the smell of pancakes and run out of bed in just my oversized T (which is Ethan's) and tiny shorts. I smile when I see E cooking and attempting to make breakfast, but failing. The burning smell starts to fill the kitchen and I walk over to him, shooing him away so I could take over. I throw away all the burning ingredients, which was most of them, and attempt to remake the pancakes.
"Sorry babe, I tried to make I nice breakfast but I got lost and failed" he laughs at the end
"It's okay" I laugh back continuing to make the food
When I finish I place it on the table and sit down next to E. We have a four seat table but decide to sit next to each other because that's how we like it. He places his hand on my thigh, like he does every morning, and eats his breakfast with one hand. I eat mine, making sure to put syrup on the side.
When we finish I get up and clear my spot. Afterwards I go to the bathroom to get dressed because I feel like I smell.
"Baby?" E says from the living room, behind me before I enter the bedroom
"Yea?" I question back
"Where are you going"
"To take a shower, duh"
"Can I join?" He says wiggling his eyebrows
"No" I say laughing, smacking his arm "I want to be quick"
"Fine" He says rolling his eyes playfully and walking to the bedroom with me.
I go to the bathroom, get in the shower and somehow manage to hear E talking silently on his phone, at least quieter than he usually talks.
I listen carefully, and manage to pick up a few words
"Ring..... surprise.... sapphire...... ready?....... thank you....... bro"
I think about it and can't seem to put the conversation together. I shrug it off and get out of the shower, wrapping my towel around me and getting dressed. I apply no makeup, because I'm lazy, and just put my hair up in a high ponytail.
"BABE?" E calls from the bedroom
"Yea?" I yell back
"Are you ready?" He says
"Yea, I just have to brush my teeth and get my shoes on"
"Okay" He replies
I come out after brushing my teeth and look at him strangely asking "where are we going"
"It's a surprise" he answers
I guess that was the one word from the conversation. I follow him to the car and get in the passengers seat, because I don't feel like driving today plus I don't know where we are going. He drives and I see that we are on a back road. I trust him but man is this creepy. We finally pull up to a place that is just a field. I see a pile of hay and a staircase made of hay. He grabs my hand as he gets out of the car, dragging me up the stairs. When we get up I see fairy lights I tangled in the hay in the border of the stacks. I see a thick blanket layer out, candles that are artificially lit, I see a bunch of food. I smile and run to the blanket sitting down, patting the place next to me.
"So why did you bring me here" I smile
"Because, I wanted to ask you something"
"Okay..?" I say back "What is it?"
"Sapphire Amanda, I have loved you since I have seen you the first time. I looked at you and instantly knew you were the one for me. We may only be 18, and may be "too young" but I know what Love feels like. I have never meant anybody as beautiful, thoughtful, and caring as you. I want to raise a family, be happy, and be with you forever. We may only be 18, and we may be busy with the pregnancy but I just can't wait to ask you anymore. Because I know if I hid it, I will explode. Will you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me" he says getting down on one knee holding up a box with a ring in it.
Tears start to form in my eyes and bawl. I is quickly and places the ring on my finger.
"I love you so much" he whispers into my ear
"Me too, promise me you won't leave me anymore and be with me forever?"
"I promise baby, I'll always be here"
