Part 7 - not yet

Sapphire's p.o.v
It's been only one day and I feel terrible for not saying I love you back to Ethan but I just don't think I'm ready to say it yet. I decide to call him:
Me: Hey E (i sigh)
Ethan: Hey babe what's up?
Me: Nothing, just calling because
Ethan: Well thanks (he says chuckling)
Me: Your welcome (I laugh)
Ethan: So do you want to do something today since you called (he's says excitingly)
Me: Sure, like what?
Ethan: I can pick you up and we can go to the movies?
Me: Sure, I'll go get ready, give me like 30 minutes
Ethan: Okay, bye Saph, I love you
Me: Bye, E I'll see you when you get here
I hang up the phone and sigh, I really want to say it back but every time I try I feel like my throat closes and I can't speak.
I go over to my mirror and do quick makeup then putting my hair in a ponytail, re-straightening it. I put on a loose crop top and jeans then look at my phone.
6:30pm
15 minutes. In the meantime I decide to just go downstairs and watch some tv. I am flipping through the channels and then the doorbell rings. I look at the time and see that it's already 6:45pm. Do I really take more than 15 minutes to pick what I want to watch?
I get up and open the door to see Ethan standing there. I am about to close and lock the door when I remember I left my purse upstairs. "Oh poop" I say
"Oh poop?" He questions
"Don't judge me" I say walking up the stairs with him trailing behind me.
When I get upstairs I start searching my room for my purse. I hear Ethan sit on the bed.
"You look so pretty" E says
"Thanks" I say walking over to him. "Do you see my purse anywhere?"
He looks around and points to my vanity chair. I walk over and pick it up, grabbing Ethan's hand and dragging him out the door.

We get in the car and I decide I want to drive. He sits in the passenger seat and not even 2 minutes in he grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers. (Authors note: she got her license I just decided to not put it in the story)

When we get to the movies we walk in with me holding his hand.
"Sapphire did we decide what movie we wanted to see?"
"No but I picked one"
"Will I like it?" He says
"I don't know" I shrug.
We walk up to the desk and I say two adults for the new movie out.
When we walk into the theaters Ethan takes my hand leading us to the very back.
"Do you like the movie I picked?"
"Yes" he says
I lean on his shoulder just as the movie starts. I feel him place his hand on my thigh the time during the movie.
He pecks my cheek and I turn to him saying, "what was the for?"
"Oh nothing" he says glancing to his left.
I see a guy sitting in the corner staring at me and immediately know he was jealous.
"Awwww your jealous" I say
"No I'm not" he says his voice going up and I know he's lying.
"Uh-huh sure"

When the movie ends we get in the car and I decide just to stay at his for the night because I'm extremely tired. As soon as we get in the car I lean up against the window falling asleep.

"Baby,baby wake up"
"WHAT?!" I say jumping 5 feet in the air.
He starts cracking up and realize I just made a fool of myself. I see we are already at his house and without even asking I get out of the car and walk in.
"WOW THANKS FOR HOLDING THE DOOR FOR ME" he yells because I'm already half way upstairs.
I text my mom saying that I'm staying the night so she doesn't worry.
Mom: okay sweetheart.
I put down my phone as I arrive and Ethan's door opening it and immediately going to his bed. He runs up the stairs and I'm already half asleep.
Ethan's p.o.v
When I walk into the house and upstairs I see her already in bed. She is so cute when she is asleep.
Sapphire's p.o.v
I hear him walk up towards the bed and lay down next to me. His arms wrap around my waist and I feel safe. I snuggle up to him and drift off the sleep.

When I wake up in the morning he isn't awake yet and I get up deciding to make us some breakfast.
As I get up his arm pulls me back down and he says, "where are you going"
"To eat" I say getting up and walking out of the room.
I got downstairs and see nobody down there. I was guessing that his parents were a work, Grayson was most likely with Mia (they have gotten so close the last week), and Cameron (their sister) was at college. I pull out some pancake batter from their cabinets and a pan and bowl. I start mixing and hear Ethan come down.
"Hi babe" he says wrapping his hands around my waist, snuggling his head in between my neck and shoulder. "What are you making?"
"Pancakes, duh" I say
He takes a handful of batter and throws it on me.
"ETHAN! I'M GOING TO GET YOU"
I run after him and trip over nothing falling flat in my face.
"SAPH!" He screams rushing over to me. "Are you okay"
"Yep I'm fine" I say getting up and dusting myself off
I am the clumsiest person ever.
