The Other Side: Korra and Asami

Chapter 19

Korra made her stance sturdy to prepare for her launch towards the helicopter.

"Stand down avatar!" The deep voice said.

"Gaaaaah!" Korra belted as she summoned all of her energy.

Sand started to swirl around her as her scream became louder but her body used too much energy. She felt light headed and colapsed on the sand.

"Heeeeeey Avatar!" Varrick said happily. "Oh no. I must have startled the avatar. Julee, help me pick up the avatar"

The two carried the avatar in the helicopter and flew back to the city.

Korra woke up with anger. She jumped and started to punch fire in the air. " Gaaaah" she shouted.

Varrick barged in the door, "What's wrong?"
He tried to dodge the fire blast from the avatar.

Korra saw Varrick and stopped. Her face eyebrows scrunched. She realized she was in a room. She fell on the ground and placed her hands on her face.

"Someone took Asami. I couldn't even save her."

Tears started to fall from her face.

Varrick walked up to her and sat beside her. "We will find her. Asami is a strong woman."

Korra looked at him, "I love her. If anything happens to her. . . I ... I can't imagine life without her"

She continued to cry.
