The Other Side: Korra and Asami

Chapter 2

After the two kissed, they sat underneath the tree where they fell asleep in each other’s arms. The next day, Korra woke up from the sweet caress of Asami’s touch.

“Good morning Asami!” Korra said while stretching her back

“Good morning Korra!” Asami said sweetly then she continued “I think we need to go back to Republic City already. We need to get back to our work.”

“Fine. But before we go, I have to do something important.” Korra said sternly

“What is it?” Asami said with curiosity

“Well. . .” Korra said while friskily moving her fingers then attacked the non-bender with a tickle. Asami tried her best to resist Korra’s tickle but she fell on her back and gave in. The non-bender couldn’t stop laughing.

“Korra. . . stop!” Asami said while laughing

“I can’t. I don’t know how to. Hahaha” Korra said innocently

“Please stop. Pretty please.”

“Okay, fine. I’ll stop because you look helpless.” Korra then stopped tickling

Asami sat down with a grin and pushed the avatar to the ground. She then tickled the avatar.

“Who’s helpless now?” Asami said playfully

“You’re not helpless Asami.” Korra said while laughing out loud. Korra was laughing so hard; tears started to fall from her eyes. Asami then stopped from tickling the avatar and stared at her. Korra continued laughing but then felt Asami stop. Korra then opened her eyes and saw the beautiful green eyes staring at her again, which made her smile.

“You’re cute Asami.” Korra unconsciously said. Asami smiled back to Korra.

“Come on. Let’s go back to the Republic City.” Asami said

The two went through the portal back to the physical world while holding hands. Once they reached the physical world, they departed as if nothing happened. Asami went back to her mansion for her to continue her work as CEO in Future Industries while Korra went back to the Air Temple Island to train with the air benders.

The next day, Korra woke up and the first thing that popped in her mind was Asami’s green eyes and their kiss in the spirit world. The thought of the non-bender made her unconsciously smile and gave her a light feeling about everything. Korra started to frolic as she went out of her room. She said Good morning in a singsong voice to everyone that she passed by. The moment Meelo saw the avatar frolic; he joined her dance on the way out of the temple.

Korra stopped and left Meelo happily dance alone outside. She used her glider to visit Asami in her mansion. Korra landed in front of the mansion. She went inside and saw Asami talking to Varrick with Zhu Li and a tall good-looking man.

“Hey guys! What’s happening?” Korra said with a smile

“Zhu Li and I are going on honeymoon. That’s what’s happening.” Varrick said with a laugh. Then he continued “But before we go on a honeymoon, I assigned Marco to supervise my new invention where benders can play a game of capture the flag.”

Korra then looked at Marco suspiciously from head to toe. The tall good looking man looked like a fire bender. 

“It’s nice to meet you avatar, korra!” Marco said with a smile and reached out his hand to shake Korra's hand.

“It’s nice to meet you too!” Korra said while shaking Marco’s hand. Then Korra faced to Varrick and said curiously “Why are you here if you have a new invention?”

“Well, Varrick and I will be collaborating in this new project.” Asami answered her proudly.

“Great! Now that everything is settled, we will head out now. Zhu Li do the thing!” Varrick said with conviction while Zhu Li pressed a big red button. Then a giant air ship appeared in front of the mansion. Varrick and Zhu Li went out of the mansion and entered the air ship.
