The Other Side: Korra and Asami

Chapter 16

Korra walked out of the room and stopped at the door. There she lingered at the door knob and held it. She twisted it, left and right then she bit her lip while looking down and wiggled her foot.

"Good night Asami" Korra said.

"Good night Avatar!" Asami said while she sat on the edge of the bed.

The avatar looked up and smiled at the non bender. The avatar turned her back then Asami said "Korra..."

"Yes?" The avatar eagerly turned to face the non bender.

"I had an amazing night with you. Thank you for cooking me dinner . . . even though it was ruined, I still had fun. Thank you for everything." Asami said while smiling.

"You're welcome!" Korra said while smiling.

"You have been good to me and I don't know how I can repay you with all of the kindness you have given to me. I'm just truly grateful."

Korra went inside the room and walked straight towards Asami. The avatar took the non bender's hand and looked to her eyes and said "Anything for you love." Asami looked away as she blushed with a huge smile on her face because of what the avatar said. She felt the kilig in her body. She bit her lip. She immediately stood up and hugged the avatar. Korra hugged her back tightly.

They both hugged each other in silence. Asami felt her heart pounding. It was pounding loud.

Korra saw candles on the table so she flicked fire off the tip of her fingers. This lit up to the candles on the table. Korra stepped back away from the non bender and held her hands. Korra looked at the burning candles and Asami looked at the same direction.

Korra then kissed the cheek of the non bender. Asami immediatley looked at Korra and said "Hey!". The non bender's cheeks were flushed with pink. Korra smiled at her.

"Are you trying to steal a kiss, avatar?" Asami said teasingly.

"What? No . . . I was just trying to remove something from your cheek." The avatar joked and rubbed the back of her head.

"Well, if you want to kiss me then you just have to do it." Asami said in a teasing manner.

Korra slowly leaned in. The non bender started to breathe heavily. Korra tip toed and kissed the non bender's forehead. "I love you Asami." Korra said. The non bender's breathing changed rapidly.

"Um. . . Asami? Are you okay?" The avatar was confused.

The non bender continued to breathe in the oxygen in her lungs fast. Her grip tightened on the hands of the avatar.

"Oh no! What should I do?" The avatar was having a panic attack.

The non bender's grip slowly loosened.

"Asami?" Korra said nervously.

The non bender's grip tightened and took a deep breath in. The eyes of the avatar widened.

"HA! I GOT YOU!" Asami said.

"What?" Korra said with her forehead all scrunched up.

"I was just joking." Asami giggled.

Korra's eyes and mouth were opened wide. "Are you okay now?" She asked then she continued "That was cra- z . . .".

Asami didn't allow the avatar to finish her sentence and pulled her top. She then kissed her passionately, where their lips danced together. The non bender placed her arms around the avatars' neck, claiming her lover.

Korra reciprocated the kiss and placed her hands on the waist of the non bender to pull her closer, affirming that Asami was the only one she wants.

Asami pulled her lips away and said "I love you too!". The non bender then pushed the avatar on the bed.

Korra stared at the beauty of the non bender and grinned at whatever that may come next.
