Recap:

I ran to my favorite training ground (the one with the stream), and went into the woods nearby. Taking off my mask, I placed it carefully on the forest floor.

I tie the blue hitai-ate onto my forehead.

A gasp runs through my body as a wave of pure energy and chakra encased me, and the world turned pitch black.

Chapter 11 - Recovering Lost Memories (Part 1)

Kumiko's P.O.V.

"Mama!"

I blinked. Huh? Where am I? I looked around. I seemed to be on the streets, even though I was just in the forest a few moments ago. And where's my mask?

My eyes focused on the scene in front of me.

"Mama!" laughed the little haired girl again. She looked....to be three or four years old, I think. She had long raven hair, and onyx black eyes that were sparkling with happiness. She wore a cute blue little kimono, patterned with red flowers that looked like cherry blossoms and a silky red trimming at the edges of the kimono.

She ran towards me, holding her arms out. I smiled confusingly at her. 'What? I'm not her mother.'

Then I realized her eyes were focused behind me, and I turn around. I saw a beautiful raven haired woman wearing a red kimono. She had bent down a little, and also holding her arms out. But.... it looks like she's seeing right through me.

I turn around again to look at the running little girl. But as I do....

She.

Goes.

Right.

Through.

Me.

I widen my eyes in shock and gasp.

"What the hell is going on?" I whispered, trembling.

I look at my arms in confusion and shock. "I don't know any invisibility jutsu...." My voice trembled.

I look at the now hugging mother and daughter, hoping for answers. However, I saw something that made me gasp again. The little girl.....had the Uchiha symbol embroidered into the back of the kimono.

'What? Kohona's history books had said that they were all dead.... Perhaps someone has put a genjutsu on me?'

"Release!" Nope. Not a genjutsu.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. What in the world is happening?

"Mama!"

"What, Kumiko-chan?" Smiled the woman at the child with love, still enveloping her in a warm embrace.

I froze as chills went down my back. What? That's my name..... A terrible pain started in my head. I clutched my head, and bent down. "What.... is.... going....on....."

As I collapsed on the street, it felt like a part of my memory was unsuppressed, and the pain went away, and I went through a series of flashbacks.

"Mama? Where are we going?" I held Mama's hand as she smiled and looked at me.

" We're going to visit some of your family, Kumi-chan!"
