Weskers and Son pop-up butchers at London's Smithfield Market piqued people's interest last September 2012 as they sell human meat but worry not coz this is actually just animal meat dressed up to look like human meat, but some of it is pretty convincing.
To promote the survival horror third-person shooter video game Resident Evil 6 being released, Capcom created a killer PR stunt by turning the Smithfield Meat Market in East London into a Resident Evil themed human butchery shop.
The wild selection of edible human-like food being sold was created by food artist Sharon Baker, Tongue 'N Cheek, Homemade Hampers and drinks were served up by Loading Bar. All proceeds from the meat sales were donated to the Limbless Association, an organization that provides support and information to individuals with limb-loss. There was even a live pop-up morgue with extras supplied by Amputees In Action.
