The drive going to Subic was pretty much unenventful, or not. No one wanted to speak first so the first 30 minutes was quite quiet. However, Maine cannot take it anymore, she turned to open the radio. She is tuning in to FM radio to search for a good music. After a few tries, she finally found a music suitable to her liking. It was playing a new song, and she was already humming to it, when suddenly the music became a voice. Maine turned to the radio and sees that RJ switched it to AM mode and is now searching for some news program.

"What are you doing?" Maine asked with one eyebrow perched up already.

"Ano sa tingin?" RJ answered without looking at her.

"Bakit mo nilipat?" Maine asked.

"Kasi gusto ko makinig ng news."

"Ako ang nagbukas diba? So, you have no right to change the station." Maine pointed out.

"Wow ha! Kaninong sasakyan ba ito?" RJ said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Ay, hindi mo alam? Kawawa ka naman." Maine answered back. "For your information sayo ito."

"Exactly, sa akin. AKIN." RJ answered with a smirk. "Meaning, I can change the station of the radio anytime I want."

"Hello. Hindi porket sayo tong sasakyan eh pwede mo na lang bigla biglang palitan yung radio station to your liking. You should also be considerate of your passengers."

"Usually naman I take into consideration yung mga ganon. Pero kung opinion mo lang naman din, why would I bother?" he then looked at Maine then turned again his focus on the road. "Your opinion doesn't matter." He said with a hint of teasing.

Maine on her part breathe deeply and counted 1 to 10 to herself. "Fine, have it your way." She said, then muttered to herself, 'Bastos'. She then took out her headset and just played the music from her cellphone.

Richard on the other hand stole a glance at Maine. He wanted to tease her more so when they were near the toll gate he said "Maine, pahingi ng pambayad."

Maine didn't heard him so when he looked again, Maine is trying to hum to the music she's listening and her eyes is still close.

RJ, then leaned towards Maine's face and tapped her lightly, "Huy!"

Maine was startled and accidentally hit RJ on his cheeks. "Shit!" when she realized what happened, she immediately removed her earphones and held RJ's cheeks. "Sorry, sorry." She then lightly rubbed his cheeks and said, "Bakit ka ba nanggugulat?"

Richard's ear was turning beet red as Maine continues to rub his cheek, "Grabe ka naman. Ang mali-mali mo. Pahingi ng pambayad ng toll gate."

"What? Bakit?"

"Hello, malamang para maka daan tau."

"Eh bakit ka sakin nanghihingi?"

"Aba syempre, akin na ng ang sasakyan, akin ang gas. Aba, ikaw naman sa toll gate noh. Ano sinuswerte?"

Maine, then gave him a sharp look then took out her wallet and gave him a 500 peso bill. "Ayan na po. Nakakahiya naman sau, baka mamulubi ka eh. Keep the change na lang."

RJ smiled and said, "Uy, salamat ha. Pwede pa to pambili ng coffee sa drive thru mamaya."

"Kapal talaga ng mukha." Maine muttered to herself. She then just turned to look at the window and put on her headphones as well.

Halfway through their destination, RJ cursed out of nowhere. "Shit!"

Maine was startled with his action so she removed her headphones and asked, "What? What's your problem?"
