It's already 12 noon and Jing walks towards Maine's cube. As she walks the hallway, Drei was coming from the other side and was also going to Maine's workstation.

"Hi Ms. Jing." Drei greeted.

"Hello! Ano kumusta ang first few hours mo?"

"Okay naman po. Trying to catch up on my readings for the case."

"Ay, uu. Medyo madami nga yan."

"Yeah. Actually, I've been following the case already. With the media frenzy covering it, it's not really hard not to know it. But it's different if you're looking from within."

"Oh well. Media. What can we say?"

"What about media?" Maine butt in.

"We were just discussing the exposure of our case because of media." Jing said.

"Oh. Well, if you look at it. There's pros and cons. We just need to use media to our advantage." Maine said.

"You're right. At least with the media, everything is magnified. The people on the other side of this case will be very careful with their actions." Drei added.

Both Maine and Jing then nodded. Then Drei continued, "Ladies, it's already noon. Can I invite the both of you for lunch?"

"Sakto, you can join us. Ate Jing and I will grab lunch na din eh. Diba ate?"

"Yup."

"Wait, is Atty. RJ not joining us?" Drei asked.

"Why?" Maine asked.

"I mean, doesn't it make sense na kasama natin siya mag lunch. We handle one case. I think its just right na kasabay din natin cia kumain."

"Ah. Well, usually naman hindi yon sumasabay. Kame lang talaga ni Ate Jing magkasama."

"Oh, okay." Drei said with a shrug

"So let's go? I'm quite hungry na din." Maine said while clutching her wallet.

"Uhhhhmmm!" RJ cleared his throat. "Where are you children going?"

"Ay Atty. RJ, we will be having lunch. I invited these two beautiful ladies." Drei said and smiled. "Do you want to join us?"

"You invited them? SIgurado ka? I mean, si Jing pwede pa kase di yan malakas kumain. Pero yang si Maine, naku good luck. Baka mamulubi ka."

"What are you talking about?" Maine asked with eyebrows raised.

"Well, it seems like you're going for a free ride ngayon lunch." RJ teased. "Maawa ka naman dyan kay Atty. Roberts, first day pa lang magpapalibre ka na. Eh ang lakas mo pa namang kumain."

"Excuse me, I can pay for my food!" Maine said indignantly.

"Yeah right!"

"No, no. It's alright Atty. RJ. I invited them. So it's my treat."

"Thanks Drei. Buti ka pa gentleman. Unlike some people." Maine said as she rolled her eyes to RJ.

"You're welcome." Drei answered sweetly. Then he turned to RJ, "How about you Atty. RJ, do you want to join us?"

"Okay lang. Medyo gutom na din ako. San niyo ba plano kumain?"

"I'm not quite familiar with the place pa eh. But does any of you have any preference or cravings?"

"Actually, I wanted to eat some Italian pasta and pizza." Jing responded. "Gusto niyo mag Don Henrico's?"

"How about you Atty. Maine?" Drei asked.
