Maine ushered Drei in the hallway towards different cubicles. As they walk Maine is trying to give him a short tour of the office already.

"To your left side at the end of this hallway is the Pantry." Maine explained. "There's coffee, tea and other beverages available for free."

"That's nice." Drei answered. "Are there also some vendo machines were we can get some snacks?"

"Yes, there's one. Yon nga lang mostly junk foods. Cookies, chocolates and chips." Maine answered with a smile.

"Cool! I love junk foods."

"Talaga. Di halata sa katawan mo ha."

Someone following them close by gave a snort. Both Maine and Drei turned around and found out that RJ was still following them.

"I really don't know why they put that vendo there. Its not healthy you know." RJ pointed out.

Maine just rolled her eyes then said, "Kaya nga snack diba. Kase po ang mga normal na tao naman eh kumakain ng mga ganon. May buhay kase kame. At isa pa, meron din doong yogurt."

"Yuck!" RJ responded and made a face. "Parang panis na gatas. I don't really understand why that passes as a food."

"I love yogurt. Especially the flavored and frozen ones."Drei answered.

"Same with me. I think we will get along well." Maine answered.

"Whatever!" RJ answered and gave another shrugged.

Maine then continued to walk and talk. "Near the pantry, there's also some comfort rooms. Actually, there's about 3 different restrooms within the floor."

"On the right wing of this building are conference rooms, board room, and the filing room."

"Filing room?"

"That's where we keep the files of the cases we handle."

"Oh okay."

"Drei, those files were kept alphabetically arranged. So you should not mess it out."

"Pasencia ka na dyan Drei, OC kase yan eh." Maine quipped in.

"No, no. Ako din, ganyan. I like all my things arranged and in place at all times." Drei answered as he stole a look at RJ and smiled.

"Sabihin mo, burara ka lang kase." RJ retorted.

"No, I'm not. I'm very organized with my things. I'm just not as OC as you. Unlike you, I don't get frustrated just because one of my pens are not in its proper place." Maine pointed out.

"I didn't get frustrated because of that pen." RJ answered indignantly.

"Yes you did! Kulang na lang, baliktarin mo yung conference room last week, just because of a simple pen." Maine insisted.

"It's not a simple pen!" RJ answered back.

At that moment, Jing stepped out from her cubicle and saw the three. "Oh, Atty. RJ, Maine, nag-aaway nanaman kayo?"

"Hindi Jing! Eto kase si Maine eh."

"Anong ako, ikaw nga itong nakikisali dito sa tour ni Drei eh. Tapos sasabat-sabat pa."

"Hay, kayo talaga. Mahiya naman kayo dyan sa kasama niyo oh!" Jing pointed out.

"Ay, Ate Jing, sorry." Maine remembered, "This is Atty. Roberts. He's the one na naka assign na kasama natin sa Tueviera case."

"Hi Ma'am. Atty. Alejandro Andrei Roberts III po." Drei said as he extended his hand to Jing.

Jing reached out to shake Drei's hand, "Please to meet you Atty. Roberts."

"Drei na lang po. Okay lang po sakin na yon lang ang tawag nio sakin. Pag kase naririnig ko yung Atty. Roberts, feeling ko lalabas yung lolo ko anytime."

"Hahahaha.... Sige. Drei it is." Jing said. "Pasencia ka na sa dalawang yan ha. Aso't pusa kase yang dalawa nung past lives nila. Don't worry, masasanay ka din."

Drei only nodded.

"You know Drei, in reality di mo naman kailangan ng tour dito. Maliit lang tong opisina and I'm sure you're smart enough to get yourself familiar with the floor." RJ said.

"Thank you Atty. RJ. But I really appreciate it that Maine took the time to tour me around." Drei said with a smile towards Maine. "Thank you Atty. Maine."

"You're welcome." Maine smiled back.

RJ rolled his eyes and whispered to himself. "Sus, halatang halata na gusto mo lang pumorma eh. Itong isang to naman, kinikilig."

"What did you say?" Maine asked with her eyebrows raised.

"Nothing. Did you hear me say anything?" RJ answered back.

"Wala."

"Oh eh di wala."

"Whatever." Maine then turned to Drei and again said. "This is actually my workspace Drei. Yung kabila naman yung sayo."

"Cool. Magkalapit tayo. All I need to do is stand and I can see your beautiful face already." Drei said. "How about you Atty. RJ, is this your cube across Atty. Maine?"

"Unfortunately, yes." RJ answered.

Before Maine can retort, Jing finally intervened. "Drei, alam mo I think I need to at least give you a background on where we are on the case. Why don't you first settle down on your workstation then in about 30 minutes puntahan kita para mabrief."

"Sounds like a plan po. Thank you." Drei answered. "Excuse po muna Atty. RJ, Maine." With that Drei walk towards his cubicle.

"Kayong dalawa naman. Tama na yang asaran niyo ha."

"Wala naman ako ginagawang masama ha." RJ said.

"Whatever!" Maine answered back. "Ate Jing, sabay tayo mag lunch ha." With that Maine also walked towards her own cubicle.

"Ikaw naman RJ, wag mo na asarin yang si Maine. Masama pakiramdam niyan kanina pagdating."

"Sus, umaarte lang yan."

"Ikaw talaga. Sabihin mo, nagseselos ka lang kase parang tong si Atty. Drei may gusto kay Maine eh."

"What?!" of course not. Bakit naman ako magseselos?" RJ asked. "If gusto niya si Maine, bahala siya. Basta wag lang sila mag papabaya sa case natin."

"Talaga lang ha. Sabi mo yan ha."

"Uu naman noh."

"Sus, wag ka magsalita ng tapos. Baka mamaya kainin mo yang sinasabi mo."

"Naku Jing, eto ang itaga mo sa bato, kahit kelan di ako nagseselos. At lalong-lalo na wala ako gusto dyan kay Maine noh."

"Tignan natin. Sana lang mapanindigan mo yang sinasabi mo. baka mamaya di mo alam eh binabakuran mo na yang si Maine. Hahahaha...."

"Naku Jing, malabong mangyari yan."

"Sige, sabi mo eh." Jing answered back. She then walked towards her cube and whispered to herself, "Akala mo lang yon. Tignan natin kung di ka mataranta pag may ibang nagbakod dyan kay Maine."

Sorry, i know this update is long overdue. Sobrang swamped lang ng work.  Naisingit ko lang tong isulat.  Ngayon pa lang po sasabihin ko na, i'm not sure when can i write the next chapter kaya pagpasensyahan nio na to. Pero as soon as i can i will update again.
