It was almost 8PM when Maine stands up from her chair and prepares to go home. She was headed to the door when she saw RJ standing just outside her cubicle.

"Maine, I'm sorry." RJ started. "I just didn't like what I saw earlier."

Maine look at him but didn't say anything.

"Maine, please..." RJ continued. "Wala naman ako ginawang masama eh. Kasalanan ni Drei yon."

Maine raised her eyebrows and started walking past RJ, disappointment written all over her face.

"Wait..." RJ again spoke. He then reached out to hold Maine's hand and said. "I'm sorry. Please don't be mad anymore."

"Why are you apologizing?" Maine asked.

"Coz you're mad. And I know you're pissed at me."

"Why?" Maine asked with her eyebrows still raised.

"What do you mean why?"

"Why do you think I'm pissed off?"

"I don't know." RJ tried to deny.

Maine tried to pull her hand from RJ and was about to walk out again.

"Wait, wait. Okay. I'm sorry. I was rude to you earlier." RJ said.

"Only to me?" Maine continued to ask.

"Fine. To you and to Drei." RJ admitted.

"Okay. So, what will you do?" Maine asked.

"What will I do?" RJ asked. "What do mean, what will I do?"

"Well, you apologized to me." Maine started. "Don't you think Drei also deserve that apology?"

"WHAT!!!" RJ said with his voice raised. "Why do I need to apologize to him?"

"You said you were rude to him. So you should apologize." Maine pointed out.

"Of course not." RJ said. "I won't apologize. It's his fault why I was rude to him. If there's someone who should apologize, it should be him."

"It's useless talking to you." Maine said now clearly upset. "Don't you dare follow me." She snared and then walked away.

The following morning, Maine woke up and started preparing for work. She was just finishing dressing up, when she heard a knock.

"Pasok." Maine said.

Coleen's head popped in. "Meng, mauna na ko ha."

"Teka Ate. Patapos na ako. Sasabay ako sayo diba. Coding ako eh." Maine quickly said.

"Ay, hindi mauuna na ako. Bye." Coleen said. Then she immediately closes the door.

Maine hurriedly gathered her make-up and put it inside her make up kit. She then picked up her bags and went straight towards her door. When she saw Richard standing upright wearing an apron.

"Good Morning Maine!" RJ greeted with a smile. "Breakfast?"

"What are you doing here?" Maine asked.

"I'm here to apologize." RJ answered. "Please accept my peace offering. I personally prepared this breakfast."

Maine remains mum. RJ approached her and assisted her towards the dining area. He then pulled a chair for Maine and motioned for her to seat down. "Please?"

Maine then sat down but was still not talking.

"I have prepared, pancakes, waffles, cereals. I also have bacon, eggs, hotdogs, bread and rice. What do you want?" RJ asked.
