Daryl tried breaking from his restraints. Jerking his arms back and fourth, doing everything he could to get free.

The door opened and a man walked in and over to Daryl. The man sat at the edge of the table in front of Daryl and crossed his arms.

“Sorry we have to tie you up. It’s just a precaution, you understand right?” The man asked smiling at Daryl.

Daryl remained silent looking at the floor. He had no idea why he was here. One minute he was hunting with…

Y/N. He was with Y/N, and then they were both hit over the head. Y/N was no where to be found, and that made Daryl’s blood boil.

“Where is she?” Daryl asked through gritted teeth.

The man chuckled and stood up walking around the room. “I’m the Governor of this town. And I want to keep my people safe. I’ll let you and your friend go, just tell me where your camp is.”

“Go to hell man.” Daryl said pulling at his restraints again.

The Governor shook his head and walked over to the door. He opened it and in walked another man and Y/N.

“Daryl.” Y/N cried. The Governor took Y/N’s arm and guided her in front of Daryl.

“You don’t wanna talk. Fine, I’ll make you talk.” The Governor said grabbing Y/N’s hair and pulling it back making a yelp erupt from her mouth.

“Stop, don’t touch her.” Daryl said his heart beating out of his chest.

“Sssh. Just tell me where your camp is.” He said into Y/N’s ear.

“No.” Y/N said stomping on his foot making the Governor let go of her.

She quickly went over to Daryl and tried undoing his zip ties. “We gotta get out of here.” She said frantically.

Before Daryl could warn her the Governor grabbed her and threw her into the wall. Y/N yelled out in pain and fell to the ground.

The Governor kicked her into the stomach and Daryl pleaded, “stop! Don’t touch her!”

Picking her up he threw her on the table. She cradled her stomach and The Governor walked over slapping her across the face.

Tears welled up into Daryl’s eyes and he wanted to stop this, he wanted to kill the man hurting the one he loved. But he didn’t want to put everyone else he loved in danger as well.

“Daryl, don’t give in. I’m fine baby I promise.” Y/N pleaded looking over to Daryl, followed by another slap to the face.

Daryl didn’t know what to do. He wasn’t thinking straight, all he wanted to do was keep Y/N safe.

“Last chance, tell me now.” The Governor said standing over Y/N placing a hand on her throat.

“Let her go please.” Daryl cried his eyes never leaving Y/N’s.

The Governor chuckled and his grip tightened around Y/N’s throat making her gasp for air. He leaned down and ran a finger over her chest.

“Please! Please!” Daryl screamed watching the person he loved being hurt.

“It’s a prison! There’s a prison!” Daryl screamed once Y/N had stopped thrashing and her eyes had closed.

The Governor took his hand off of Y/N’s throat and smiled over to Daryl. “See that wasn’t so hard.”

The Governor walked out and Y/N laid limp on the table.

“Y/N.” Daryl cried, “y/n please, wake up.”

Moments later coughs erupted from her making her fall of the table and onto the floor. “Y/N.” Daryl said relived. Y/N slowly looked over to Daryl and rubbed her throat.

She slowly stood up and grabbed a nail from the floor using that to cut Daryl’s zip ties. Once he was out of his restraints he wrapped his arms around Y/N’s waist.

She hissed in pain and Daryl let go of her cupping her bruised cheek. “I’m sorry Y/N. He was hurting you a-”

“It’s okay Daryl. I’m just glad your safe.” Y/N mumbled pressing her lips to his. Daryl pulled away and rested his forehead against hers.

“Come on, lets get out of here.” Daryl said kissing her once again.
