Hello there! This is a shout out to all of my wonderful fans.

This is my one letter home during camp and I thought I would right to all of you!

In case you haven’t heard of it before NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month and it takes place every November. The aim is to write a 50,000 word novel in one month. I did it last year and finished my first novel Eternal Darkness I have being working to get it finished editing ever since. This year they introduced Camp NaNoWriMo in the months of June and August. I couldn’t resist joining up.

So now I’m writing to tell you that I’m successfully ploughing through my new novel Shadow Blades which is the sequel to Eternal Darkness. I’m over half way but still have loads of writing to do. (So I better keep this short)

I have met some new people who are my cabin mates and we have been pulling each other through and putting fish in each other’s sleeping bags. My cabin named ourselves Snorin’ S’mores.

Camp is quite a bit more light hearted than the event in November and far more relaxed.

I don’t know what I’m going to do at the end of the month though! I hope to have copies of my novel in my hands but I will also have a whole new manuscript to type up because I’ve handwritten the whole thing so far!

I’ve have listened to so much Owl City it is not funny. It’s official though, I love Adam Young. At night I blast the music into my ears to keep me awake and writing so that I can reach my word goal.

It’s been nice to have a chance for some outside world communication and I’ll post my next blog at the end of the month. (Who knows, I may upgrade my how to survive NaNoWriMo post). I’ll be having a shot at it again in August where I will be co-writing a novel with my sister- a post apocalyptic zombie novel- and in November I hope to write Rose Thorns which is the final in my series.

The councillors are coming around to turn off the lights so I better stop here!

See you on the other side!

Pranxtor!
