It took a week, and L hadn't responded at all. I was growing impatient by the hour now.

"What does he think he's getting done by waiting?! Does he think I'm a patient person?" I growled as I paced a little, then fell on my bed.

After a while, I had an idea, and sat up, grinning, then got dressed.

Armonia and I went to a coffee shop nearby, and I instructed him to write down the name of everyone in the shop to die of a heart attack in ten minutes. I got myself a cup of tea and sat at a table, drinking a little before checking the time. Four minutes.

I got the camcorder out of my pocket and went over to this teenage boy sitting alone with a coffee.

"Hey." I smiled and he looked at me with a raised brow. "I'm a performer. Mind filming for me?" I asked and he took the camcorder and I pulled my turtleneck up to cover my face and the hood of my jacket over my beanie that was hiding my hair. He nodded as he began filming.

I turned to my table and set my cup of tea on the opposite seat, and climbed up on the table, making people turn and look at me.

I cleared my throat and put on some announcer's voice. "Ladies and Gentlemen! It does not matter who I am! I have a message from the beyond and I am here to reveal your futures! Any volunteers?" I looked around, making grand gestures.

A little boy, no older than eleven, raised his hand. "Ah, good man! Let's see here... in just about three minutes, you will die. Who's next?" I looked around again, then started pointing out random people.

"You, good sir, you will die in three minutes. As will you, my lovely lady. And you, barista, you too will die in... oop! Two minutes now." I checked the time again, then raised my brow at the camera.

"You're not allowed to ask how I know." I then switched to the nasal accent I used in my videos. "Just know that I am killing you."

That's when everyone began to get scared. "Don't you dare even think about moving a muscle." I threatened them all.

"Now, I'm sorry to say that your deaths will not be explained to you, but know that your deaths will be an example. To who? To the people of the world, and L." I looked around.

"You all saw the TV. I want to meet L, I want to be his friend. And he hasn't complied, and that hurts. He hurt my feelings." I pouted and touched my heart.

Then people began gasping for breath and falling over, and I looked around in surprise, then checked the time. "Oh. You're leaving... You're all dying. Hm..." I noticed and looked at my cameraman.

"Oi! Don't you drop that! It cost a lot of money, you know!" I snapped in a more normal voice, then picked the camcorder up from his dead hands and started filming all the bodies, clicking my tongue.

"Oh, L... look at all the people you've killed..." I said in a nasal voice. "I know what you're thinking. L killed? You just said you killed them, Nietzsche. And I mean, yes, I did. But L is why I killed them." I said and turned the lens onto me, then flipped the screen so I could see the recording properly.

"Ah, there we go." I hummed, now in my normal voice. "See, L, you really kind of hurt me by not coming to meet me. I'm sure by now you know who I am. I bet you know everything about me. You are a genius, after all."  I sighed, rolling my eyes.

"Anyway, every day that you don't meet with me, L, people will die. Starting today. I do plan on this airing today, only hours after all this." I spun around quickly.

"Now, I'm pretty hungry. I'm thinking of McDonald's. I am a slut for chicken McNuggets. What food do you like, L?" I hummed, wondering.

"Ah, I'll find out when I meet you. What do you say we have a dinner date? You eat whatever you like, I'll eat whatever I like." I winked. "Can't wait," I said and stopped filming.

I then went home and put it on tape, still hiding all of my identity, then brought the drive to Sakura TV.

I then went home and watched it on the six o'clock news, grinning to myself.
