Lea's POV
"P-pwede po bang... kila Tatay muna po ako?"Fate
I was stunned after she asked me that question. I look at Aga's reaction and he too was shocked. I know he wants to disapprove it yet he's trying to put himself in Fate's situation.
"Sigurado ka ba diyan?"Aga
He asked in a low voice and you can hear sadness from it. I look at Fate when she nodded.
"No. Dito ka lang."ako
She looked at me.
"Hindi ka aalis. Dito ko lang."ako
I firmly uttered while suppressing the tears to come out from my eyes.
"Pero... Momm—"Fate
"Kapag sinabi ko, sinabi ko. Dito ka lang. Walang aalis."ako
She looked down to hide hear tears after I said that. Napatingin ako kay Aga nang hawakan niya ang kamay ko. I slightly shook my head in disbelief when he gave me a look na para bang okay lang sa kanya, na payagan ko ang anak niya.
"Are you out of your mind?"ako
I asked him and he just sighed. I look again at Fate who's crying kaya tuluyan nang tumulo ang sa mga ko.
"Ayokong umalis ka."ako
I look for her hand to hold it tumingin ulit sa kanya.
"Ayaw mo na ba dito? Ayaw mo na sa amin?"ako
I asked while crying. Umiling naman agad siya kaya nakahinga ako nang maluwag. I thought she wants to leave dahil ayaw niya na sa amin. I thought she finds this family hideous after what happened to her.
"Gusto ko lang naman pong lumayo saglit."Fate
"Bakit ka lalayo?"ako
Umiling siya
"Hindi ko po alam. Siguro po... para... para maging okay ang lahat?""Fate
She sobbed and wiped her cheek.
"Kasi... maayos naman kayo noong wala ako, eh. *sob*"Fate
I look down and absorb every words that she will utter even though it really breaks my heart.
"Si Ate... hindi naman siya ganyan."Fate
She cried harder and let go of my hand to wipe her both cheeks.
"Pakiramdam ko dahil sa akin nagulo ko kayo."Fate
I shook my head and held her hand again.
"No. Hindi ‘yan totoo."ako
I cupped her face and look in her eyes.
"These weren't your fault, don't blame yourself. Okay? You don't know how completed I was when we found you. You don't ruin us because you complete us."ako
She still didn't stop from crying after I said that.
"Nagpapasalamat naman po ako doon. Pero hindi ko lang po kasi maintindihan kung bakit... kung bakit ganito. Bakit ganito ‘yung galit sa akin ni Ate. At dahil doon naaapektuhan po kayo. Sorry po."Fate
I shook my head and locked her in my arms.
"Please, don't say sorry. Andrea will learn her mistake. Just don't leave. Please, anak. Huwag ka nang umalis. Huwag mo ulit kaming iiwan, pakiusap."ako
I close my eyes so tight and wish to God to change my daughter's mind. Aga went nearer us to give us a hug. He's also crying, I know this also hurts him. To hear these words from Fate. But I know Aga, he understands.
