"Aaalex," Jack whined drawing out the A, poking me in the arm. I rolled over and let out a yawn as I stretched.
"Wha-what do you want Jay?" I asked.
"You fell asleep during Home Alone!" He accused me playfully.
"M'sorry Jacky, I was really tired and upset last night."
"I'll forgive you this time, but don't let it happen again or else..."
"Or else what?" I grinned.
"I don't know, it's too early to think of an inventive threat," he yawned.
"I'm sure it will be horrible whatever you have in mind."
"Yeah, keep that in mind Lexy." He rolled onto his back and I heard his breathing slow as he fell asleep again. He looked too adorable to wake up and seeing as it was Saturday I left him to sleep. I reached over my bed and picked up my phone before leaning against his chest and scrolling through twitter for a while.
My mind kept wandering off and I ended up thinking about Jack. I knew I loved him but I wasn't sure in which way. I mean we were really close and knew everything about each other. We basically grew up together as we were almost attached at the hip when we were younger. We often slept in the same bed together for crying out loud!
But then on the flip side more recently I kept finding myself thinking about how cute he is when he laughs and how much I adore his crooked smile and the way he loses himself in the music whether he's playing it or not. The way he pouts when something doesn't go his way and he's trying to guilt me into agreeing to it, his enthusiasm for Home Alone and the way he will defend it to his death. Then there are the times we've kissed and that time we made out. I really liked the way his lips felt pressed against mine and since that day I have imagined doing it again. (Maybe more than once)
Yeah, I think I like Jack.
I wandered over to my desk and started writing as I had an idea for a new song.

"Jack, Jaaack. Get your fat ass up you lazy prick!" I shouted.
"Huh, what? What time is it?"
"I don't know, like one?"
"Why the hell did you get me up then?"
"Because we need to go to yours,"
"Why?"
"I wrote a new song that I wanna practice."
"And it has to be at mine why?" he asked, clearly still confused.
"Because it's a full band practice. Zack and Rian should already be there," I replied slipping my book into my bag.
"Eugh, I just wanna sleep," he moaned collapsing back on my bed.
"You can sleep when you're dead. C'mon," I dragged him by his feet until he was literally about to fall.
"Okay okay okay, just don't let me..." He crashed to the floor. "…Fall. I hate you. I actually hate," he muttered as he finally stops up and followed me out of the door.
"No you don't, you love me," I stated as I dragged him down the road. We argued like that the whole way back to his house and were still going when we crashed into his basement to see Rian lounging on the couch while Zack was plugging his bass in.
