I was currently sat at my computer attempting to finish my art project, but I kept getting distracted because Jack was lying on my bed moaning about how bored he was. My mom didn't know he was here as he had come through the window because I was losing my mind from boredom. All I had to do was finish collecting the information for a couple of people and then copy it all onto my project. Jack being the babe he was had offered to do the work for me if I gave him the information. Just as I was about to send my work to the printer, my computer crashed causing me to groan loudly leaning back and resting my head in my hands.
“What’s up?” Jack asked getting up and walking over to me.
“Computer crashed.” I moaned as I logged back onto my computer.
“That’s okay; it’ll be up in a minute. Just give it a second to load.”
“I didn’t save it.”
“Then you’re a bit stupid, aren’t you? Don’t you ever listen to your teachers when they tell you to save literally every five minutes?” He asked as he pulled my beanie off and laced his fingers through my hair, playing with the long strands of my fringe that I had pushed back.
“Dude, you listen to your teachers?” I questioned looking up at him in confusion.
“Since that time I lost my 5000 word essay that I had to re-write four times, yeah I listen to my teachers. Besides saving your work takes literally half a second,” Jack answered. I just shrugged at him pulling him down by his shirt as I placed my lips against him. He started kissing back almost immediately. From the corner of my eye I saw Skype load up meaning my computer had finished loading, so reluctantly I pulled away from my boyfriend as I knew how easily this would turn into a make out session and I wouldn’t get any work done. Jack stole a quick kiss before he flopped down on my bed again.
“You know, auto save is a thing, so you should still have most of your work, besides you copied, like, 90% of it so it should be saved on your clipboard,” Jack told me as he flipped through a notebook. I turned around to flip him off when I saw which notebook he was flipping through.
“Jack?!”
“Yes babe?” He didn’t even look up.
“That’s my lyric book.” I pulled it out of his grasp and slipped it into my back pocket.
“I know and it’s very good. I like the new one, what’s it called?”
“You know how I feel about this book. It’s like my diary. Private.”
“I know and I’m sorry, but it was just too tempting sat there open. It was just calling my name.”
“Just promise me you won’t do it again.”
“I promise I won’t look at your book again,” he drew a cross on the skin above his heart. “But seriously what’s the last one called?”
“Jack!” I groaned.
“What? I wanna know.”
“If these sheets were the states,” I mumbled as I turned around to face my computer again.
“What was that?”
“You fucking heard me.” Thankfully my computer had saved my work right before it crashed, so I quickly saved it properly and printed it out after finishing copying the last few profiles I had saved from the other day. I collected the pile from the printer and made my way over to Jack.
“Hey babe, you know I love you right?” I asked sweetly.
“Give it to me,” Jack sighed holding out his hand, knowing exactly what I was getting at.
