The next day in court is one filled with loads of tension, we all sit in Ruth's office waiting her to get back from talking with the judge along with Roberts lawyer and I'm hoping to god that it'll come out good for us and very bad for Robert because after everything he really does deserve to stay in prison. It's not long till Ruth finally walks back in with our full attention

"We've done well so far, by what I can see it looks like we might win but we've still got to get through today" she explains to us all

"What'll happen if Robert is denied his plea?" Marie asks

"Then he gets life in prison and won't be able to call upon the judge for another plea" Ruth answers

"Okay then, let's do this"

"I've known Katniss Mellark ever since she was born" my doctor who examined me was called up to the stand and so far it's looking good

"And from a doctors view how did you see the defendant?" Ruth asks

"From learning to become a doctor I was able to take a psychology course, that man really did have a problem with little girls although I had not seen him do anything with one prior"

"Do you feel that he should be granted his plea?" Ruth asks

"Honestly, no I don't. Mental or not, a sex offender is not the person I want on the streets. Not when I have children of my own, I was the one who examined all the girls and they all resulted in injuries that you don't want to see for children their age" he replies

"No further questions"

"Dr Aurelius, my client came to you sometime ago claiming that he feels that something is wrong with him but you simply just gave him some medication and left, is that true?" Roberts lawyer asks

"Yes that's true"

"And did he or did he not come back saying that it wasn't working but you just gave him another type of medication?"

"That is also true"

"And why is that?" He asks my doctor

"Mr Delta perhaps you should stop and question why your client had kept coming to my hospital, I knew what he was doing. I caught him in the children's ward causing complaints from parents, I was going to prescribe a rapist medication that could be enough to make a child loopy" Dr A replies making me smile

"Do you have proof of what you're saying?" Mr Delta asks him

"I do, I've got paper work of him demanding a specific drug that can make someone go loopy or pass out, I have security cameras to prove my statement and I'm sure there are many parents from that day who'll be more than happy to back my statement up" and with a frustrated look Roberts lawyer sits back down, I look to Peeta who gives me a reassuring smile, it's happening.... we're going to win.

"Your honour my client and I would like to call one last person up to the stand" Mr Delta says standing, the judge nods his head

"We'd like to call the child of Mr and Mrs Mellark to the stand" my eyes immediately grow wide, what's Willow got anything to do with this?!

"Objection! The child is irrelevant to the case" Ruth argues

"Overruled, bring the child forward" the officer takes Willow and I go to protest but I remember that we're in a courtroom and not to make a scene so I sit here helplessly as I watch my daughter sit in the seat

"Please tell the courtroom what your name is?" Mr Delta starts

"Willow" she mumbles and I can tell she's scared, oh my poor baby....

"Willow, do you know who that man is?" He asks pointing to Robert and Willow shakes her head

"If he came up to you what would you think?"

"Mommy and daddy said to never talk to a stranger without them with me" she answers

"Yes but Willow, you must answer the question with a full sentence" he pushes and I can see that her breathing is starting to get heavy.... oh no, she doesn't deal well with pressure so this means her anxiety is playing up

"I-I don't know...." she replies with tears in her eyes and her breathing is getting worse

"I want my mommy!" She cries and this causes me to get out of my seat and over to my crying daughter, I lift her over the railing and hold her close, I reassure her that I am here and for her to calm her breathing, I stare daggers at Roberts lawyer

"My daughter isn't talking no longer. You traumatised enough of us, don't you dear bring my daughter in this" I snap at him and bring Willow back to where we were sitting before, Peeta takes her from me and holds her close, what a monster.... who does that to a little girl? A monster that's for sure.

It's a little while after the case was put on hold so the jury could go off and decide what their choice is. We all get called back in, when we're all seated including the judge everyone in the jury make their way back in and the one word that one of them answers to the judge is music to my ears, guilty.... they decided Robert was still guilty

"Well the jury come to a decision. Due to lack of evidence, you are rejected your plea Mr Simons therefore you get lifetime in prison with no chance of bail. Case closed" the judge concludes but as he gets taken away he shouts out profound things to us all and I thank the lord that he's going to rot inside that prison, I stand and go to hug Ruth

"Thank you.... for all that you've done for us" I smile at her

"My pleasure, anything for justice. Are you okay sweetheart?" She asks Willow and she nods for a reply

"She gets anxiety when she's put under pressure" I inform her

"Well, I wish you and your family a happy day and life" she says taking her briefcase and leaving

"Are we going home now mommy?" Willow asks and I smile

"We sure are, Will bear"
