Picture of Alana on the side
Third Person P.O.V.
15 Years Later (Didn’t see that coming did you? ^.^)
“Seth Devon Hayes, would you please stay still? You’re acting like a little child!” Siana’s motherly tone comes out sternly, causing her fourteen year old son the frown.“Mom, I can brush my own hair.” He whines, rolling his crystal blue eyes.
She laughs, looking at her son in the mirror, which they both stood in front of. “Well, you don’t brush your hair, so it’s come down to this mister.” She smiles at him, pulling the brush through his shaggy hair once more. “Alright, run along.” She says, motioning for him to leave.
Happily, he does so, running to his room before she could get on him about doing something he forgot to do earlier. The only thing was that she had also forgotten what it was he was supposed to do.
“Hey, mom?” Alana calls out from her bedroom.
“Yeah, Al?” She calls back.
“Can you come here?”
“Sure.”
Siana takes long strides out of bathroom, and into her daughter’s bedroom, which had recently been packed into card board boxes and suit cases. As she pushes the light brown door open, just enough to see in the bedroom, she sees a massive sea of dirty blonde curls, and bright green eyes.
“Do you promise to make sure Snuggles is taken care of? Dad promised, but I’m afraid he’ll forget. You know dad.”
Siana lets a soft, reverent smile come across her face, remembering that no one else knew Hunter quite like she did. “Yeah, I know your dad. I won’t forget, sweetie.” She assures her daughter.
Alana slowly looks down at the ball of fluff on her lap. Also known as Mr. Snuggles, her rabbit. Since her and her best friend, and boyfriend, Evan had been accepted into the very same collage, there was no doubt she was going, but she was in denial of leaving her pet behind. To everyone else, it was just some old Rabbit, but to Alana, that was Mr. Snuggles, the rabbit she had gotten for her fifteenth birthday.
“Are you ready?” Siana asks her carefully.
Slowly, but very unsure, Alana nods her head, but pulls the rabbit closer to her in the process. “Yeah, I think so.”
“Aunt Maria and Uncle Levi are downstairs with Evan. They’re waiting.” She reminds her.
“Mom, I know. I just don’t want to leave.” Her voice cracks at the end, and soon she breaks down into tears. “I know it’s a rare thing, but I’m going to miss you guys so much. You, dad, Seth, Destin, Aunt El and Uncle Trevor, Uncle Tim and everyone else. I don’t know if I should go.”
