Keep in mind my lovlies that this book will probably skip ahead every so often :)

I woke up to Charlie licking my cheek, trying to get me to wake up. I groaned and pushed her away from me, then rolled over. She began whining, nudging my back with her nose.

"Charlie, stop. Sleep. Just sleep." I muttered to her, swatting her away from me.

I felt her jump off the bed, and sighed in relief, knowing she would now leave me alone so I could sleep in blissful peace.

But was only mistaken when I hear her walk back into the bedroom and drop something on the floor next to the bed. Opening my eyes and investigating, I see that she had brought me her leash. "Girl, it is the beggining of November. Do you honestly think I want to take you for a walk in the cold?" I ask her groggily. She whines once again, picks the leash up with her slobbery mouth, and puts it next to me.

"Fine." I give in, pealing the covers away from my cold body.

I stretch and let a yawn roll out of my mouth, just before I stand up. "You better love me." I point at her face.

She connects her slimy tongue with my leg, and begins to wag her stubby tail. "That's right, mama loves you too." I coo at her in a baby voice, scratching her behind her ears.

I've lost it.

After changing into some jeans and a random long sleeved shirt I found in the closet, I bundled up in a fluffy coat, ready to take Charlie on a walk.

Till I heard my phone ringing.

I walk over to the dresser and pick it up, quickly answering it. "Hello?"

"Siana! Dear! How are you? How are you feeling? How is the baby?" Mama kept shooting all these questions at me, and I just giggled.

"I'm actaully not feeling bad, Mama. Three and a half months along and haven't puked in a few days." I said happily, standing sideways next to a mirror to get a better look at my belly.

I had ended up telling my family about what Hunter and I were expecting, since Ivy told me she soon wouldn't be able to keep it a secret any longer. Everyone was happy and excited about the soon to be addition, except for Trevor. I still remember the look on his face when he saw me. It was a mixture between bewildered, and confused. Maybe a hint of anger.

He gets to over protective sometimes.

"-and I have these cute little footie pajamas your aunt Layla wore when she was just a little thing, I will have to let you borrow them, they are the cutest thing-" Mama kept going on about something, and I just laughed at how excited she was about this baby.

It would be her first great grand child, of course she was excited.

"Mama, you might as well just raise the baby yourself with how much you talk about it, goodness!" I laughed, sitting down on the bed. Charlie gave me a blank look, since she still wanted to go on that walk.

"Goodness me, no child! You and Hunter will make beautiful parents." She said in all seriousness.

I blushed. "Thanks, I guess." I say softly.

"You guess? Why do you only guess? Do you doubt me?" She asks me.

I sighed, slumping my shoulders in defeat. "Mama, I know Hunter will make a beautiful father, but I'm not so sure about myself. I have to admit, I'm pretty terrified." I got all shaky out of no where, remembering Hunter had yet to know.

"Dear, it will all fall into place. A baby makes the days shorter, the nights longer, but it also gives you a reason to live. Just let what happens, happen. You and Hunter will know exactly what to do when the time comes." Her sweet words had brought tears to my eyes, and I hadn't realized they were falling until Charlie went to lick them away.
