Siana's P.O.V.I kept tossing and turning in my bunk, stirring each time the bus went over a bump of some sort. One of the boys was snoring, though I knew it wasn't Hunter, and it was keeping me wide awake. I also wasn't able to sleep soundly without Hunter next to me. I had gotten use to him being home with me, and not being able to feel his arms around me was almost foreign at this point.
I hear someone rustling in their bed, more so then usual, then see two feet gracefully meet the floor from who was sleeping in the bunk above me.
Hunter.
He kneels down, and even though it was dark, I could see the sympathetic smile on his face. "Can't sleep?" he asks, reading my mind.
I shook my head no while moving, letting him lay down next to me. Once he did, his arms find their way around me, and I found myself being comforted as he rubbed my back in circles.
"How'd you know I wasn't sleeping?" I asked, looking up at his eyes, even though it was dark.
A smirk plays on his lips as he looks down at me, brushing hair behind one of my ears. "You make this breathy snoring noise when you sleep. I didn't hear it." He answers.
I smile nervously. "Is it a bad snore?" I asked.
He chuckles lowly, smiling. "No, it's an adorable one." He says cutely, leaning in and pressing his lips against mine. I feel butterflies in my stomach as he kisses me softly and brought one of his hands up to the back of my head. Running them through my long brown waves, he kept the kiss gentle and sweet. When he pulls away we both slightly gasp for air.
"I love you so much." He whispers to me, pressing a kiss to my temple and letting his lips linger there. "You literally have no idea." He inhales deeply, as if taking in my scent, and continues to let his lips linger against my skin softly.
I shake my head after a few moments. "No, Hunt, you have no idea. I'm the lucky one in this relationship." I whispered back, knowing that truly I was.
There was nothing special about me. I didn't even have anything above a high school education. I had plans at a community college in Knoxville for while Hunter was on tour, but I would no longer be able to do that with the baby on the way. She already took to much out of me.
I'm just some girl.
And here he is, being a literally world famous country musician, being able to play an unnatural amount of instruments, and I'm just along for the ride, standing in the background.
I was pulled from my thoughts when Hunter began to snap his fingers in my face. "Are you listening to me?" he asks.
"Huh?" I muttered.
He laughs, kissing my forehead. "Didn't think so." He says. "I said, I'm the lucky one, because I have you. You're my world. Truthfully, you have been my world since I was four. You and music." He kisses my cheek, and I felt myself blushing like an idiot.
"But there's nothing special about me." I retort.
He freezes for a moment, then slowly turns his head to look at me better. "Don't you dare lie to yourself. You're special in every way possible." He says quickly, trying to sound convincing.
I shake my head no. "No Hunter, really. There is nothing special about. I'm, just... Me." I bury my face in his chest, trying to hide from the truth. Which stung. I was literally replaceable.
"You're special because you're you. You're different from other girls. You don't need all this fancy stuff, you don't need to have the latest fashions, you don't need to have the the big huge house. Though I'd give it all to you, I know you don't want it. Plus, I know you love me for me, because you're my best friend. Also, you can play piano like a boss." We both began to laugh softly at the last bit, and I looked up at him and smile.
