"Grace!" Cole called," What's u------ What happened?" He asked looking at my eye.

"Nothing. I just tri---"

"Let me guess. You tripped on a random person and all your books feel to the ground and you hit your head."

"Yeah."

"Grace.sigh. You've played soccer and basketball since you were 5 and you're trying to tell me you lost your balence? You always have the same escuse. Sometimes it sounds logical, but this time-."

He didn't finish his sentence. He wrapped his arms around me, No he didn't kiss me, he hugged me. As soon as his head hit my shoulder I heard him whimper.

"I know someone did this to you. Who?" He asked still hugging me.

I didn't know what to tell him. I knew I should lie. But his eyes. Those big blue eyes.

"I-- I don't know some guys were in the parking lot and they jumped me." I said trying to make it believable.

"Really?"He looked at me straight in the eye, then I cracked.

"No! Okay! It was your fucking crazy ex-girlfriend. She threw me against a wall and then her and Clarissa starting kicking me." I said sobbing.

"Which ex-girlfriend?" he asked.

"What do you mean which one? You told me only have one."

"DUHHHHHH. I was ,um, ,uh, joking."

"Grace! Grace!" it was John,"Hey Cole. Dude there's a huge football game on Saturday, don't miss it!"

"I won't bro. Anyways what's up with you. I have talked to you in like 2 weeks. After the breakup I wanted to be alone." Cole said.

"Yeah man I know what you mean."

"What the hell is it that you want, John?"

"Nothin it's not important. Wanna sit with me at lunch Cole?"

"Sure brah. Grace will talk about this later."

And I was alone. Or so I thought.

"Grace."

Leila

"What the hell do you want Leila?"

"I'm so fucking sorry. I should have said something, I should have stopped it."

I didn't want to be mad at her but honestly. I was.

"You fucking should've Leila. I'm tired of you apologizing and begging for my forgiveness when you're the reason it's now 4 on 1. 2 on 1 I could handle. But me vs you, Rhi, Clarissa, and Madison. I can't take it."

"Grace I would do anything for you to forgive me."

"I'll consider forgiving you. Only if the next time you see Clarissa and Madison being mean to me, you say something."

"Leila?! where the hell are you?" I heard Madison yell.

"That's your que." I said then turned and walked to lunch.
