"Aaaaaaagh!!"
My door slammed open the sound of my mothers footsteps inching closer to my bed. " echo, are you alright honey" she whispered , sitting at the foot of my bed. It was another nightmare I never got used to it , but it happen quite offten most nights I didn't sleep at all.
"yes, I'm fine " I said trying to catch my breath. " did you dream about it again" she said as she slid closer. "yes, but when don't I " I replied, My dads been on a 'business' trip for a week now but I know it's about me. Before he left he told me everything would be alright, but I don't really try anymore it's hopeless. No matter how hard I try to mask my fear that someday 'it' will come back for me.
"echo, are you listening to me?" my mother said as she waved her hand in front of my face, pulling me out of my thoughts."anyway, I registered you for school today I think you've been home long enough "
" what?!" I practically shouted
" Its been nine months since you were excused from school you need to go back" she argued back, walking towards the door.
" but I-" she cut me off closing the door behind her gingerly blowing me a kiss.
Don't get me wrong my mom is a great person, but there was no arguing with her she was right It hadn't even been outside other than the weekly hospital check up on my pyshci for nine months since the incident. The world I once took comfort in was snatched away and I was left to carry all the fear and agony of it .
