"Pandemonium is one of the largest slayer compounds in the underworld it is governed by the high council. Which is three elders, your father is the head elder making our family one of the three oldest and most powerful clans around. There are the Clearwaters, the O'lThunders and the Knights. Pandemonium Is the only place demons do not roam, well not alive that is" mom chuckles as we walk downstairs.
"So how exactly are we to get there?" charlie question"I mean are we going through some portal"
"Yeah,hey mom we cant really drive to the underworld"I at the last step looking into my mothers eyes " can we?"
Just then we hear a loud crash outside and my mom leads us to the the door with an evil grin. When I get there I'm stunned by this black carriage with gold wheels being pulled by indescribable beast. All I can do is stare in awe at their majesty they have long sharp teeth, black luxurious hair, but they have the tails of dragons and the face of a German Shepard.
"This my child is The Chariot of Damnation" she says all dramatically pointing towards this behemoth.
"Wow! Awesome Mrs.Clearwater" Charlie exclaims as if she just say a concert and can't hear yet.
"Call me Dana Mrs.Clearwater makes me feel old" mom replies setting the luggage in the chariot. I'm still standing there with my mouth gaped looking at the beast wondering what I should call. Maybe I'll think of one later I think stepping into the chariot.
"Gergon" a voice behind me catches me off guard.
"Excuse me" I reply to the voice which I now know is Charlie.
"Gergon since it is a mix between German Shepard and Dragon, I heard you thinking" she answers.
" Oh yeah I keep forgetting you can hear me thinking since your my retainer, but can you not listen all the time I like my privacy" I reply with worry I don't like having someone being able to invade my mind but since it's her I trust she will follow my request.
"Yes Mistress I'm very sorry" she answers. I also don't like the fact that she calls me mistress I'm only a year Oder than her. Before I could reply the the chariot starts to move I guess its time to leave we stayed here for only two months but I'm going to miss the neighborhood. Where I'm going everyone is trying to kill me or well half of me.
"I guess we're literally on the highway to hell" I sigh getting ready for a great adventure.
**************** 3 hours later *********************
I was awakened by a gentle push on my shoulder. It was charlie we were there in the underworld it didnt look so different from the normal world except for that key detail everyone was either a werewolf, vampire, slayer, or demon ,etc. It was really interesting the acted as if it was normal living amongst all these creatures.
"Be careful not to get lost they will eat you alive, literally there's a human restaurant at the corner" my mom said looking at me and Charlie seriously. Me an Charlie exchanged looks of worry as we followed closely behind mom all of a sudden the whole crowd stops and bows including my mom I follow her actions.
I glance up to see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in all existence and a man and a women on both sides that resemble her. She has blood red eyes pearly white skin and black hair that reaches her back . She was wearing a blue gown the had flowers on it and a red rose in her hand and the others were wearing crowns which showed they were of royal blood but I should have realized that everyone bowed. They pass and everyone gets back to their daily life I'm still wondering what that was about.
"That was the king and his royal family of the underworld his son the prince died today of a curse placed on him by a Mage. That family had the Mage purged which is the worst way to die, they are stripped of all power and sent to the zoid to die of insanity" at that moment my moms face was blank and emotionless. From there we walked towards the compound in the middle of the city it was more of a justice leagues for the real world. When the demons and other supernaturals ran amock or broke the elder rules it didnt happen that much though that is what my mother told. No one dare be sent to the zoid. My mom was going to be with the council all day so she registered Charlie and I in Justice Academy for Young Slayers. Yeah we left school to basically go to a harder school, but this school will be for training to use my strength I accidentally through a few people trying to get through the crowd when we got here.
"I'm not the only human am I?" Charlie asked concerned for her well-being.
"I doubt it most slayers are born in the human world if they chose to be any thing else that happens after they graduate it's in the rule book mom gave me.Oh! By the way you can't leave my side since your my retainer there a lot of other students here who have them too so you don't feel out of place" I reassured her as we walked into the institution.
