Innocence

Chapter 1

My eyes widen as I look at the unconscious body on my living room floor. I let the pan in my hand fall down to my side, as I look over at Luna.

She has her head crooked to the side..also looking at the body on my floor. I look down at the boy, whose currently taking a little nap on my floor.

Again, I look over at Luna. She looked at me and stared at me.

"What?!" I whisper shouted at her.

Luna let out a low rumble from her mouth.

"What did you expect me to do?!" I whisper shouted again, holding the pan in the air.

Luna stared at me then let out a single bark.

"Luna..Shhhh" I said calming her and myself down. She let out a soft whine and obeyed laying down gently on the floor.

...You're probably wondering 'What the heck just happened?!' or... 'I'm so confused.. ' well... Lemme tell you what happened minutes ago.

----45 minutes ago. ----

"Okay! Yeah you too! Haha! See yah later Gabe!" I yelled to my best friend as he left my house. Looking down at my fuzzy pajamas(outfit above), Luna let out a bark, as he walked down my driveway.

Well you see.. It was kind of cold out.. And...icy.

Gabe turned around and shouted,

"Yeah see yah later bitch! Call meh later boo-BOO!"

Gabe started his sentence fine.. But when he was saying 'boo-boo', he slipped on a patch of ice... Hence the capital letters on the last part of the word.

"Ah, fûckin' bloody hell!" Gabe groaned from the spot he slipped in.

I let out a loud laugh that was very unladylike. I looked over at Gabe.

"You looked like a horse that slipped on ice... All four limbs spread out!" I laughed loudly as I wiped a tear out from the corner of my eye.

"Stop laughing! And come over here and help me Brooklyn!" He yelled at me.

I quickly quit laughing and my eyes widened.

"Uh..No! I forgot to salt my driveway, and I don't want to slip! Are you crazy?!" I hollered looking at Gabe.

"Will you keep it down you teenagers! It is 1 am! Quiet down!!" A voice yelled from a window at the next house. I looked up to their window and gave them my million dollar smile.

"Sorry Ms. Jengave!" I hollered up at her. She waved her hand dismissively while giving me a glare, before shutting her window. Her light also went out.

"Man..Jengave me a headache." I stated looking at Gabe slipping continuously, before he finally fell again while he tried getting up.

"I would laugh but I kinda have a fûcking grudge against you." He stated trying to stand slowly.

"Hey.." I said warningly. He looked up at me.

"Sorry" He said sheepishly.

It's fine if people cuss around me, but when the cussing is directed towards me.. Well.. Let's just say I don't like it.

"Dammit!" I heard as I looked at Gabe right before his feet slipped out from under him and his face landing right down on a soft pillow of snow. I laughed as I watched.

I should make some popcorn.

I smiled and nodded at myself as I turned around to walk in the kitchen and make microwave popcorn.
