Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

That was the sound of my constant thoughts. Dripping slowly down the drain as I wait for the time to go by.

Hey..that rhymed.

Looking up at a blank white ceiling, I let out a long breath.

Listening closely, I heard the leaky faucet from the kitchen dripping. It was relatively close to my thoughts.

Maybe that's the reason I didn't turn it off..because it was like my thoughts.

Maybe I didn't turn it off because I was lazy..

Sitting all sprawled out on the L shaped couch, with Ann dusting a shelf, I noticed how lonely I was getting.

Despite Luna laying on my lap, I was all alone, wrapped in a blanket of thoughts in my mind.

The familiar burning sensation in my eyes started. Reminding me that I needed to blink.

So, I blinked.

My thoughts were wild, but my outer expression was blank.

I lifted my head and saw the same two bodyguard's at the door.

The only time their here, is when my boys aren't.

I miss them already.

They went out to 'work' again, and wouldn't take me with them.

They've been gone for about four hours.

And what have I done all day?

Laid in this position...listening to our leaky faucet in our kitchen that Ace needs to fix.

Drip

Dri-

Getting annoyed with the dripping sound, I huffed loudly.

Ann turned towards me with a curious glance.

I shook my head and stomped into the kitchen.

Pushing the handle on the faucet down further, the dripping sound stopped.

Whoever doesn't know how to turn a dang faucet off, better learn quick.

Putting my legs back in move mode, I almost made my way back to the couch.

But that was before a feeling happened in my stomach.

It wasn't pain, no. It was worse.

It was a feeling I can't quite describe..

The hairs on the back of my neck slowly rose.

It felt like a spider had made its way into my stomach, and just the thought made me nauseous.

My eyes looked quickly around the kitchen, and I found nothing.

The hairs on the back of my neck stayed up, and goosebumps formed over my skin.

Something's off.

I went to the sink and leant over it.

That's when I saw it.

The movement.

The very slight movement, that caught my eye.

The dark little figure outside of the kitchen window.

It was far away, but I could see it was a familiar silhouette.

I squinted my eyes as if that would help me see better, but when I did I saw the figures face raise.
