Chapter 6

I was shaken awake to the sound of a booty song blaring in the van.

No, no one shook me awake physically.

I slowly opened my eyes to feel the van shaking back and forth.

Now I know what you're thinking... And I was thinking that also..

Until I opened my eyes and looked up.

I will never forget what I saw.

River was squatting in the passenger seat and bending his knees up and down, popping his butt.

Yes you heard it. I was shaken awake, due to Rivers twerking on the cars armrest... While singing a booty song...oh! And he was eating a burrito.

"So, fellas (Yeah) Fellas (Yeah)
Has your girlfriend got the butt? (Hell yeah)
Tell 'em to shake it (Shake it) Shake it (Shake it)
Shake that healthy butt" River sang as he rolled his butt in wide circles while munching on his burrito, and mumbling the lyrics.

I laughed quiet, and covered my mouth with one hand. He then moved his body and put his burrito in his mouth and his hands on the seat, and lifted his legs and put them on glove box. He then did the unexplainable while singing the next part of the song.

He air-twerked.

He popped his back in and out as his butt followed in sync, making him look ridiculous.

"BABY GOT BACK!" the music blared. My shoulders shook as I had uncontrollable silent laughter.

"Yeah, Baby got back" River mumbled with his butt moving.

Suddenly the passenger door flung open.

"What the hell are you doing on my seat, Asshat?!" I heard Ace holler.

"I like 'em round, and big..
And when I'm throwin' a gig...I just can't help myself, I'm actin' like an-" The radio blared before Ace rolled his eyes and slammed the button on the radio, making it stop.

"What the hell were you doing?" Ace asks as the van slowly quits shaking, and River slowly gets down from his dancing position.

"Daffing" River said with his burrito in his mouth.

Ace yanked his burrito out of his mouth, and threw it on the ground parking lot. River gasped dramatically, as he held his chest.

"Oh cry me a river and float me down it" Ace said sarcastically. River squinted his eyes at Ace.

"Did you just throw my favorite burrito on the gas stations dirty ground?" River asked dangerously slow. A chill went down my spine at his tone of voice.

"Yeah. I think I did. What are you gonna do about it? Huh?" Ace challenged with a smirk.

"In 3...." Seth announced opening his drivers door, while getting in. Ace squinted his eyes at River as they had a stare down.

"2.." Seth said watching them.

"Why and what are you counting down?" I asked confused. Seth shook his head side to side and pointed at the two boys.

"Now" He said.

And before I know it, River lunged at Ace from his seat on the passenger seat and tackled Ace to the dirty ground of the gas station.

I gasped and reached for the handle of the door, to make them stop.

"No. Don't get in between it." I heard Seth say as he looked at me through the rearview mirror.

I scrunched my eyebrows, and he continued.

"This is how they settle their problems. It's nothing, but if you interfere...you will get hurt, then they will feel bad for hitting you on accident.. And it will be one big mess." He stated.
