As the heating pad on my stomach started warming up, I noticed how much my feet and my back hurt.

Everybody was in their seats, the same positions as five minutes ago.

With me being crushed between Jax and River, with Luna at my feet...I started to get hot.

I didn't want to bother people with asking to take the blanket off. So instead of asking for the blanket to be removed, I repositioned myself. As my muscles relaxed in the new position I was in, my back started pinching.

Long story short, I couldn't get comfortable. Every position, my back was pinching or something was hurting.

As I was moving in a new position, Jax reached for the movie remote, and paused it.

He slowly looked over at me and raised an eyebrow.

"Why do you keep moving?" He asked me with irritation.

I shook my head, focusing back on the movie screen.

"Brooklyn." Jax said lowly and dangerously.

I sighed and looked over at him.

I didn't miss all boys looking at us, since our movie was paused.

"I'll just sit on the ground." I said, standing up.

"No you won't." Jax said.

With confused eyes, I go to turn towards Jax, when I was tugged back down on the couch.

"Everything hurts and I can't get comfortable. That's all." I said quietly.

I hate admitting my weaknesses..it makes me feel even more weak than I am.

"Why didn't you say so?" Jax looked down at me with a small smirk.

"Huh?" I asked confused.

Jax ignored me as he looked over my shoulder.

"River..I think a great way to have Brooklyn really forgive you is if you rub her feet." Jax said giving River a knowing glare.

River started to whine before Jax spoke up.

"River.." Jax growled.

River sighed then started to get up, before I stopped him.

"No. Don't touch me." I said flatly.

All the boys looked at me with confusion.

I then turned to Jax.

"I'm not a baby. And neither is River. You can't order him to do that stuff. That isn't right. If you want me to feel better, why don't you rub my feet? I want someone to WANT to rub my feet. Not just because they know I want them to. Therefore," I paused looking at a standing River.

"You, can sit back down." I finished crossing my arms.

River looked at me before looking at Jax.

"I said, you can sit back down." I repeated at River.

River nodded slowly then sat down.

"Brooklyn, it's their job to take orders from me. I am their boss. They do things for me. And if you hurt, then they will do things for you too. That's how it works." Jax said with a rough voice.

"No that's not how it works. Yes you're their boss, and yes you give them orders but only when it's needed. You can't boss them around at home, unless something related with a gang happened here. Don't make them do your dirty work, when you are just as capable as getting on the floor and rubbing my feet to make me feel better. That's mean to make them do that stuff." I said looking up at him.
