As I cried into the boys' arms I got very tired.
Before I could fall asleep, the doctor came back into the room.
"Okay, well...here's the papers you sign so you can leave, and if you have trouble walking, here are some crutches." He said.
I wiped my eyes and nodded.
Grabbing the pen and paper, I quickly signed it.
Jax grabbed the crutches and I looked up at the doctor.
"Thank you. Dr Drake." I said to him as I gave him my eye contact-respect.
"Yes. Thank you...for bringing her back to me." Jax said as he held out his hand to shake his.
Dr. Drake smiled, and shook his hand.
"Just doing my job, kid." The doctor replied.
Smiling, Jax came over to me side and slowly helped me up.
I hissed as a slight pain came from my stitches.
"Take it easy for a few days. The stitches will fall out by themselves, and when they do, give it a day or two, and you can go back to normal day activities. Other than that, try to rest." The doctor said. I nodded and thanked him again.

"Why don't you just use the crutches?"
"Because, I don't want to look like a grandma, Jax. I'm still very young, thank you." I said to him.
Jax shook his head.
"You wouldn't look old, it will help you walk." He said to me.
"And who needs help walking?...exactly! Grandmas." I hollered getting tired.
"Well we've been limping slowly down this hallway for about seven minutes, and we barely got down to the other end of it." Jax complained.
"Well, fine. Don't help me." I said.
I gently pushed Jax's hands off my body and continued to limp a step forward.
"Wait, that's not what-" Jax started before my pain made me unsteady.
I wobbled, and reached out to Jax. I grabbed the collar of his leather jacket, and steadied myself.
I looked up at him and spoke.
"Please help me." I begged him.
Jax smiled and then nodded.
He put his hand around my waist and held me steady.
"Told you. Use the crutches." Jax demanded.
I squinted my eyes at him.
"You can't tell me what to do." I said giving him attitude.
Jax looked at me blankly.
"We're doing this again?" He asked looking into my eyes.

"What's her problem?" River asked as Jax helped me into the car.
"She's grumpy because I made her use her crutches." Jax announced.
I gasped loudly.
"I am not grumpy!" I said crossing my arms and pouting.
Everyone turned their head towards me as I sat.
I lifted my head and saw them all staring at me.
"Really? Your not grumpy?" River asked as he looked at my crossed arms.
