JAXS POV

"Same thing." River announced as he childishly stomped his feet down the stair case.

I looked up from the kitchen island that I was looking at and saw River with a frown etched on his face.

My warm hands were wrapped around a coffee mug, filled with...well...coffee. As I looked around the island, all the boys were drinking a mug of coffee. River had left to check on Brooklyn.

She's been awfully quiet, and hasn't come out of her room.

River huffed and stomped back to his spot around the island. He slammed his body into the stool and forcefully grabbed the mug.

He lifted it to his lips, with force.

Chugging the coffee, River dropped the mug.

"AH! HOLY MOTHER NATURE!!" River hollered as steam flowed off of his coffee stained T-shirt.

River shook his hands back and forth and took deep short breaths.

His tongue was out of his mouth as he panted like a Great Dane.

His face portraited 'pain' as he hopped around in his spot.

"I told you that I just made new coffee. It's hot you dimwit!!" Ace hollered at River.

Looking at Ace, he had dark circles under his eyes as he looked down into his mug of coffe.

I think we all had dark bags under our eyes.

"She's just sitting there. Staring at the blank white wall." River said as he closed his tired eyes and looked at the coffee stain on the island.

I sighed and slowly pushed my tired body away from the island.

"I'll be back. Don't bother us." I announced to the boys as I slowly made my way up the stairs.

Making my way down the upstairs hallway, I smelt her familiar scent. It made my heart drop to know she's hurting.

I lifted my eyes and saw her door. Looking at the white door, I saw it was open.

I moved my body to look into the small crack the door allowed.

Looking through, I saw her.

She was silently sitting on her bed.

Her legs we up to her chest, and her arms wrapped around them.

I saw tears that trailed down her face and looking at her eyes, I could tell she was staring directly at the wall.

I took a deep breath, and softly knocked on her door.

I heard her sniffle slightly, but didn't say anything. I took that as my sign to walk in.

I slowly lifted my hand to her door, and pushed it open.

Walking through the doorway, I shut the door behind me.

Glancing at Brooklyn once I closed the door.

"Hey." I whispered.

She didn't answer.

I didn't expect her to. The girl has been abused before in her life...and she just went through that all over again.

I scruched up my face as I stayed in my spot.

"Princess. It's me. It's okay. You're gonna be alright. Please..just talk to me." I softly begged.

Brooklyn sat there staring at the wall as silent tears fell from her face.

I felt sadness take over my entire being as I made my way towards her.
