Innocence

Chapter 4

      "What the fûck were you thinking?!" I heard random voices as my head throbbed.

"I-Im sorry,  guys.. It's not my fault you guys fell asleep! "

"Really?  So it's our fault?! "

"Yeah it is! "

"Okay guys! Shut up. River, what were you doing while we slept?" A different voice asked.

"I'm sorry, okay.. But it's a funny story.."

"Yeah..I'm sure it is River."

"Ace shut up and let him talk"

"Well you see..Well..I'm just gonna come out an say it...I was eating a bombass burrito..And my...Well I was watching funny cat fail videos..And this.." He paused to laugh. "This one fat cat was running down a hallway in slow motion, until it slipped on some water in the hallway, and he.." He laughed again. "His legs spread out so far I swear he was gonna-"

"THIS ALL COULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH THAT FÛCKING VIDEO! "

I groaned softly.

"NO ACE,  THIS ALL COULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED IF YOU AND SETH DIDN'T FALL ASLEEP! "

"SHUT UP, both of you. She's waking up. "

"Ah fûckin bloody hell. "

I slowly opened my eyes and saw a pink unicorn dancing on a guy's lap. I laughed at it as it started twerking.

"What's wrong with her?" I heard Seth ask.

I watched the unicorn do all different dances as it headed out of my vision.

I laughed seeing the swirls that followed the unicorn. They were rainbow colored.

It then came back into view while dancing on a rainbow. I couldn't hold in my laughter as it looked so cute and fluffy.

"Ace! Did you give her the wrong Fûckin pill when we spiked?!" The new guy yelled.

I laughed looking up at him. He was the only one in the back seat with me. I unbuckled my seatbelt, and crawled towards him. His lips were moving but all I heard was blah blah blah,  blah blah blah, blah blah, blah blah. I watched his lips move up and down as he said words. His lips are so full with color, and they move with every syllable. I smiled as I reached out to him.

My thumb touched his lip, and I rubbed it laughing.

"THE PINK UNICORN walked on your lip." I said.

My pointer finger made its way into his mouth while he was talking, and he coughed. I laughed as I made him gag.

"You're funny, unicorn owner. " I said

"Guys get her off of me!" New guy yelled as I crawled closer to him. I sat on his lap, straddling him. I laughed as I saw the pink unicorn jump in his hair. My hands flew into his hair, tugging it to find the unicorn.

Once I found it, it jumped out of his hair. I gasped and followed it. It went to the passenger seat. Ace was then sitting there. When he saw me looking at him, his eyes widen.

"What is she doing?.. "

"What is she about to do?"

I heard many voices, but I ignored them as I crawled over the armrest in the middle of the car, and crawled my way over to the unicorn that was currently in Ace's hair.

"I'm gonna get you unicorny" I said in a sing-song voice. I then straddled Ace's lap and tugged at his hair trying to find it.

"Where are you my pink buddy?" I asked as I heard snickers around me.

I gasped.

"There you are!" I yelled making Ace jump in his seat. I reached out and grabbed it.

"YES I GOT HIM!" I yelled.

I held the pink unicorn in the palm of my hand, and suddenly...Luna's mouth popped up in the air..and my fluffy unicorn was in her mouth. She stole my unicorn out of my hand. Luna closed her jaw and pink powdery puff flew in the air. I got drowsy, and felt myself fall into unconsciousness again.

I groaned feeling my head pounding again. I slowly opened my eyes to see three boys staring at me.

"Ah!" I yelled terrified of them just looking at me.

"Oh good. You're awake." Seth said smiling.

I looked at him confused.

"Why am I here? Why does my head hurt? And where is Luna?!" I asked sitting up quickly.

I heard low groan and I look at the back of the van, and sure enough Luna is there. Well, at least they had the common decency to bring her.

"Let me explain." Seth said turning to me.

Their positions switched in the van.  Seth is sitting with me, while Ace is driving and a new guy who I haven't met yet, is sitting in the passenger seat.

"Okay go on." I said leaning my head on the cool window.

"We weren't trying to rob your house. We were trying to find..Someone." Seth said carefully.

"And he would be at my house.. Because...?" I asked confused.

"Because he is your best friend." Ace said from the drivers seat. My eyes widened.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO GABE?! WHERE IS HE AT? I SWEAR IF YOU PUT ONE FINGER ON HIM, I WILL HURT YOU SO BAD YOU WOULD GO CRAWLING BACK TO-NO YOU WOULDN'T EVEN BE CRAWLING YOU WOULD BE CALLING YOUR MOMMA CRYING BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T MOVE! " I yelled getting angry.

"Ha what are you gonna do small fry?" The new guy asked laughing. I squinted my eyes at him, but before I could say anything,

"Don't challenge her." Ace and Seth said in sync.

The new guy laughed.

"And why the hell not?" He asked.

"You don't want to see her angry." Seth said with a haunting look on his face.

The new guy laughed.

"Whatever man." He said.

"Moving on, we weren't gonna do anything to your dear friend." Ace stated.

"Then why do you want him?" I asked confused.

"You See..there's some things you don't know about your best friend.." Seth said.

"Yeah right. I know everything about him." I said.

"Really?" Ace asked.

I nodded confidently.

"Did you know that your best friend does some..things to get money so he can help his sick mother?" Ace asked.  My eyes opened and so did my jaw.

"What?!" I yelled, "no you guys are lying. He would tell me.. Right?" I asked the boys.

"If he wanted to keep you safe, he wouldn't have told you." Seth said.

"I don't get it..that doesn't explain why I'm here." I said slowly.

"Actually it does. You've seen us. You are a witness, and now you know that we were trying to get Gabe. So, we can't let you go." Seth said. My eyes widened again.

"WHAT NO!" I yelled closing my eyes.

"I don't see you, in a few minutes I will have forgotten what you looked like. Please let me go, I won't tell Gabe!" I lied through my teeth.

"We can't let you go. Especially since you're our bait to catch him." Ace said.

"What?!" I yelled.

"I am so not involved in this...I was just a sweet teen girl that was living her life watching Nemo with her dog when you guys busted into my house!  Now let me go right now!" I yelled getting upset.

"Sorry. We can't. Besides, Boss wants to see you." Ace stated.

I huffed and looked out my window.

No Freaking Way.
