I looked at the ceiling as Richie laid beside me.

"We need to talk." He stated.

I sighed as i turned my body towards him, "Richie... i wanted to tell you but i was scared." I mumbled.

"How do you guys even know this shit is real? For all we know it can be Henry and his fucktards playing a prank."

I rolled my eyes as I sat up and looked at him, "no one can make me hallucinate my little sister let alone make Henry's dad's head fucking explode, no one." I said.

He sat up as well and stared at me for a while, "how could you not tell me? We're suppose to tell each other everything." He said a bit hurt.

"I was scared shitless, Richie." I said, "I thought that thing would go after you or anyone I care about or tell." I said as I brushed the hair out of my face.

He sighed as he fixed his glasses, "tell me everything." He said quietly.

"What are you going to do? Joke about it?" I asked as I licked my lips.

"If I don't joke about it, will I get a reward afterwards?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow.

I rolled my eyes as I looked away, "whatever." I said.

"I'm joking." He said as he reached over to place his hands on top of mine, "starting now, I won't make any jokes... I'll just listen." He said.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and nodded my head slowly, "Okay um... the first time it happened was on the last day of school." I said as I rubbed my face, "I was on a trail and I heard my name and I thought it was just Henry messing with me and I turned around and saw nothing." I explained, "then I heard it again and then... bells. I know that sounds really stupid but I did. Then when I got home that same day everything went black and I closed my eyes thinking it was all just a really bad dream and when I opened them I heard someone yell boo and a red ballon pop." I said as I let out a small breath, "I know it sounds completely stupid but I was so scared."

He wrapped me in a hug and rubbed my back gently, "if you don't want you don't have to keep going." He said.

"Then I saw it again after the first time you slept over... I saw Jess in the house on Neibolt street." I said as hugged Richie tighter, "i never told anyone this before." I said as I held in my tears, "I saw her and she touched me, it felt different but I can't shake of the feeling... it felt so good to see her again, but then... her face turned into something out of a horror movie and that fucking clown just... you know. I jumped out the window and that's how I ended up in the hospital."

Richie wanted all the details I could possibly provide so I told him everything in te best way possible. The entire time we never stopped hugging.

"It's all going to be okay. It, is only playing mind tricks on you." He said.

I pulled away from him and rubbed my face, "your friends are going through the same thing... we have to do something to help, maybe if we just figure out what this thing is we can do something about it-"

"You don't fight a bear with a plastic spoon." He said, "the only way you stay safe is if you stay away. Going after it is only going to put you in danger."

"Richie... it's haunting all of us, how long until it's your turn? We have to do something we can't just sit around and do nothing. That's all I've been thinking about these last few days. We have to help in anyway possible." I said quietly.

It took him a while to made a decision but he nodded his head slowly, "Okay Fine." He said.

I gave him a forced smile.

A small part of me wished he didn't stop saying no. I wished we didn't have to help and I could just somehow forget about all this and whatever It is. I just want to forget about this nightmare.

This won't end well for any of us, I just know it.

I know I haven't updated in a while. I've been going through a rough time and I needed a little time off but now I'm back. I feel much better and I'm ready to continue publishing new chapters. Thank you for waiting patiently.
