Richie pushed me playfully as we walked down an empty street. Richie had his bike by his side and his backpack on his shoulders.

I knew where our destination would be I just imagined going into this scenario a bit differently.

"Stop." I mumbled as I moved a few feet away from him once his friends began to be seen in the distance.

"Why do you care so much?" He asked as he walked closer to me.

I sighed as I looked away, "first you got mad because I didn't care at all and now you're mad because I care too much? You're even more complicated than me." I said as I slowed my pace the closer we got.

Actions speak louder than words.

Richie grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers as his friends looked away while mumbling things to each other.

"Relax." He whispered.

"Richie, what are you doing?" I asked as I tried to pull my hand away but he held it tighter.

"We don't need their fucking approval." He whispered harshly as he pulled me closers.

I hid my smile as we finally reached his friends.

"Good day my fellows." He said in one of his stupid accents.

"Hey." They all mumbled quickly.

I looked away a bit shy as they avoided even acknowledging my pretense. I decided to look at the new boy who joined the losers club.

"I'm Cole-"

"He knows who you are." Stanley quickly interrupted.

"C-cut it ou-out." Bill said as he nudge his side, "Hi C-Cole." He smiled.

"Hey Bill." I smiled back.

"That's M-mike, B-Beverly, Eddie, Ben, and St-Stan." Bill introduced. I already knew each one of them but I rather keep my mouth shut.

"I can't bite down my tongue any longer." Stanley said as he finally burst out again, "we met up to talk about whatever it is, we just said Richie not her. Why is she here?" He asked aggressively.

"Stop being a dick." Richie said annoyed, "just shut up."

"She's not a part of our group, she never was and she never will be." He argued.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I mumbled to myself a small, "wow."

"H-he doesn't m-mean that." Bill said.

"Of course I do, I bet I can speak for everyone here!"

I looked at each of the members as I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"She helped me when Henry was about to kill me..." Mike said as he scratched the back of his head, "before that I've never even seen her around."

"Um yeah... she never takes part in anything Greta and Sally do to me." Beverly said quietly.

"You did use me as bait." Ben said as he looked away a bit shy.
