Me and my bestfriend Soomi were just having a usual friday night watching movies and kdrama, eating pizza and sitting on the couch with a ton of blankets kind of day when suddenly...

"Yah! You little kid are you deaf?"

I look up from my phone. "Ah, mian.(sorry) I was just looking at something. What is it?" I said confused. "HAVE YOU REALLY NOT SEEN IT YET? AHH JINJJA! OMO OMO OMOOOOOO!!" "Wae? Yah Lee Soomi Waeyo? (why)" I ask while nudging her shoulder a bit getting kind of nervous.

"If you don't answer me right now I will literally upload the picture of you sleeping on twitter and instagram!" I said teasing her. "Aishh. Okay okay, i'll say it. PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT JUST ANNOUNCED ON TWITTER THAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A GIRL THAT HAS TALENTS TO AUDITION FOR A NEW GIRL GROUP THEY ARE PREPARING!" She said SO loudly. "So?" I said keeping a straight face not giving any interest on what she just said.

"SO?! Yah! Michyeosseo?! (Are you crazy) I'm saying that this is the opportunity you have been searching for ever since we were little kids! This is your dream right Yeri? So go for it!" She said trying to encourage me. "Come on Soomi, you know that that dream I had was so long ago right? And I also don't have what it takes to be an idol. I lack in talent, looks, everything."

"Aniyo! (No) What are you saying Yeri? You have a lot of talent and potential to be an idol! I looked up on you ever since we were kids. I already knew that this was meant for you and in no way am I going to let you just crush your dreams like that. So jebal (please) do this for you, for me." She said with a tear sliding down from her face as I look at her astonished with the words that just came out of her mouth. I was speechless and all I could do was cry and hug her.

"Pabo-yah look what you did to me. Making me cry with your words. Thank you so much Soomi-ah, you are the best. I love you." I said while still hugging her tightly. "Okay okay. Let's stop now, this is getting cheesy. We look like a couple that are going to separate ways or something. Hahaha." She said while pushing me off playfully and quickly wiping the tears from her face.

"Yeah yeah. Sorry. I just got carried away." I said laughing. "Okay, now that the drama is done, go and make your audition video. Ppalli ppalli! (hurry hurry) I'll film you" She said excitement seen in her eyes.

We run together upstairs to go to my room and grab the camera to record my audition tape. "Annyeonghaseyo! Jae iremeun Choi Yeri imnida! (Hello! my name is Choi Yeri)" I said with a smile. "So for my audition, I will be going to sing, rap, and dance." I said trying to look confidently as possible. I grab my guitar to sing. "I will be singing "Little Do You Know" by Sierra and Alex." I sang in fluent english since I learned how to speak it ever since I was a kid. After singing, I stood up to dance. "Now I will be dancing to BlackPink's Boombayah." I danced my heart out to the song until it finished.

"Lastly, I will rap." Blah blah blah. After rapping, I said thanks and finished filming. "WAHHHHHH! YAH! ARE YOU STILL MY BESTFRIEND CHOI YERI? THAT WAS AMAZING!!!" She said while clapping rapidly then suddenly running to me then holding my hands and jumping up and down.

"Pabo, of course it's still your beautiful, angelic, amazing, talented bestfriend." I said while flipping my hair. "....And she's back." We both laugh. "Just kidding! Anyways, how did I do?"

"Fantastic!" She said looking at me lije a proud mom and she hugged me. I hugged her back. "Thank you so much Soomi for being here for me and supporting me." I said sincerely to her. "Welcome. Of course i'll always be here for you!" She said to me.

After that, we decided to send my audition tape to Pledis Entertainment. We hanged out a little more until we felt sleepy and tired so we both went upstairs to our rooms. Me and Soomi have been living together for 5 years since 10th grade in high school. Our families were close to each-other so they decided to send us both in college together and bought us a condo with 2 stories.
