chapter 23: i have something to tell you

I woke up from the sound of my phone. I think i got a text message. I grabbed my phone and turned it on.

minghao✌:

goodmorning yeri! Sorry if it seems too sudden but i just wanted to ask you if you're free today? I just want to talk to you about something...

talk about something? Hmm. What could it be? I just shrug my shoulders and decided to say yes.

To: minghao✌

goodmorning minghao :) sure! I'm free today. Let's meet at the cafe?

I sent the message and he quickly replied back.

minghao✌:

sure! see you there :)

I put my phone down and went to the bathroom to take a shower. I just wore my green sweater and pants.

I went to the cafe and immediately spotted the8. I waved at him and he saw me as he waved back. I actually wore a face mask for fans to not find out it was me, same as minghao. I sat down in the seat in front of him.

"what's up hao?" i asked. "the sky" he said then laughed cutely. I laughed and hit his arm lightly. "pabo! that's not what i meant"

"i know, i know.... I asked you to go here since i wanted to tell you something..." he said. I started getting nervous all of a sudden but idk why. "okay.... what is it?" i asked placing my hands on the table curious of what he wanted to say. "i actually-"

"good day, sir, miss! May i take your order?" a cheerful lady cut us off. I just smiled and told her what i wanted. Same as the boy.

"okay, continue" i said. "uhh... So...... You know....... When i first met you....... Fuck it i'm gonna be straightforward... I love you choi yeri." he said looking straight into my eyes. My eyes widen as i tried processing his words into my mind. What the?! Did i hear him right.

"...a-are you.... S-Serious?" i asked him not believing his words. He only managed to look down and nod his head slowly. I cover my face not knowing what to do. "listen, hao. i literally don't know how to react or what to say to you right now. Look, i love you too, but only as a brother. You do know that right? And i already have jun. I am so so sorry but you don't deserve me. You deserve to be loved by someone else, not me minghao."

"of course, i know that. i just wanted to tell you since it kept bothering my mind these days. I just wanted to tell the truth and to let everything out. Can we still be bestfriends?" he asked me. I nodded and smiled at him, feeling bad. "of course! We'll be bestfriends forever." i smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back and then let go.

*ding*

It was a text message.

Goodmorning, beautiful. Where are you? I'm at your dorm right now since i wanted to surprise you with food to make up from yesterday. The girls said they didn't know where you went. Are you with someone? Come home, ppalli.

Oh shit! He's at my dorm. I guess minghao saw me shocked so he asked me what was wrong. "yeri, is there something wrong?" i just showed him the message on my phone instead. He read it. He also looked shocked.

"omo..... you have to go now. just don't tell him about what i said earlier, okay?" i nodded my head and started fixing my things. "i have to go now, see you next time!" i messed his hair up and rushed out the cafe to the dorm.

goodmorning, mian. I just went out to have my morning walk, you know, the usual. hehe. I'm on my way to the dorm right now. I just stopped by the cafe to drink some coffee. I'll see you there! :)

I lied. I sent the message and continued walking. I finally was at the dorm and i opened the door. Then i saw jun sitting down at the couch as he was using his phone. He heard the door open so he looked at me. I smiled. "sorry for making you wait" i apologized as he just quickly pecked my lips. "ani, gwaenchanha. sit down. let's eat!" he cheered. This cute boy, omo. I just gladly ate the food he brought and ate with him.

"are you okay? you look kinda bothered. are you thinking about something?" he asked looking at my eyes. I shook my head. "aniyo, just tired." i forced a yawn. "aigoo, my aegi is sleepy~" he said while pinching my cheeks. I took his hand away from my face. "hajjima~" he smiled. "can we just sleep? I really want to sleep" i said as i closed my eyes not waiting for an answer. He nodded. "arasseo, if that's what you want. Come, my princess!" he said then suddenly lifted me, bridal style.

"yah! What are you doing huh?! Put me down wen junhui!" i said protesting. He just chuckled as he continued walking to my room. He placed me down gently to the bed and he also joined me. I was facing my right then he lied down facing his left, meaning, we were facing eachother.

He was staring at me and smiling as i just closed my eyes, ignoring him. "stop staring, pabo. just sleep"

I said lazily as i was sleepy. "i just can't stop myself, you're too ethereal" he said. This boy is making me blush even though i'm sleepy af. What the hell even is that?! I just pretended to not hear anything as i slept.
