chapter 4: closer

It's been a week after the hospital thingy. Of course, they were there for me acting like my big brothers. In the past days i've been with them, i felt closer to them. Like REALLY close. Jeonghan was always acting like a mother around me and the members. S.coups was like the fun and caring dad. Then Seungkwan, Joshua, Jun, Minghao, Dino, Vernon, Mingyu, DK, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi were like my long lost bestfriends. They were so nice and funny. About the group issue, I am very comfortable with them now. It's because all of us had different attitudes and I didn't let them to be shy around me. I'm just not that type of person that lets a group be awkward and shy around eachother.

"Yeriiiiii!! Ireona~" Unnie Bea said to me while shaking me lightly. I slowly open my eyes. Omg. There's a camera literally in front of my face. Btw, we've been living together for the past few days in an apartment and Pledis Ent. decided to create our very own show called "Day By Day with Eclipse". We basically carry cameras around the apartment and outside when we're on our practice room, or just simply going out to eat or shop. We will be debuting in September, right now, it is July. 2 more months until we debut. I'm so excited.

"Yah, unnie hajjima~ I look ugly." I said while i whack the camera out of my face and the other hand is covering my face. I hide under the blankets. Bad idea. "Yah! Kiddo, it's time to wake up~ you sleep so much." She said while taking the blankets off my body and she tickled me.

"Ouch!" She said because I accidentally kicked her side with my foot. "Omo! Mianhae unnie. Gwaenchanha?"

"Ne. Gwaenchanha. Don't worry about me." She said while rubbing the spot I hit earlier. She turned the camera off and we headed downstairs.

"Good Morning!" Unnie Sooji said cheerfully. She cooked breakfast again. "Good morning everyone!" I said with a smile and we all sat down.
"Wah! Daebak! Unnie you cook the best bacon and eggs." I said while munching down. "Well of course, I cook the best EVERYTHING." She said while emphasizing the word "everything" and she playfully flips her hair. We laugh.

After eating and cleaning the dishes, all of us hurriedly showered since we had dance practice. I just wore my
go-to sweatpants with an oversized white shirt. Then, we headed to the practice room. Our practice room was just beside seventeen and our apartments were also beside eachother.

We entered the room and turned the lights on. But my unnies told me to get water and i did. I was running to the machine and I bumped into someone but they held me to prevent me from falling. "Aish, jinjja. You clumsy girl Yeri. You almost fell again." I look up and see Jun. "Ah, mian Jun" I said shyly as I was looking into every direction except his eyes. Then he looked closer which made me blush harder.

"Why can't you look at me Yeri?" He said looking at me deeply. "B-because you a-are so cl-close to me. Please move." I said. "Aniyo. I won't" He said with a teasing smirk. Aish this boy. "Yah! I said move." I said trying my best to sound confident but he just chuckled and lets go and he hugs me. Wtf? "Gwiyeopta. You're so cute
Yeri-ssi" He said. Dude. He is so hard to understand sometimes. How could he just pretend that nothing happened earlier?

I grabbed the 5 bottles of water and said bye quickly to Jun and ran to the room. "Ehem! Yeri where were you? What took you so long?" Unnie Mia looked at me whilst Unnie Sooji, Bea, and Hyori crossed their arms. "Umm.. You see, I was going to grab the bottles of water but i bumped into Jun, from seventeen and we chatted a bit. That's all." they made a "o" shape with their faces and we continued practicing our debut song called "Mesmerize". We definitely had a mesmerizing choreography for this song. Well, atleast for us. But in the song, I sang and rapped. I am the lead singer and the main rapper.

Wahhhh. We finally finished practicing but we suddenly heard clapping from outside the room. Then we see seventeen in the door. FREAKING SEVENTEEN. What are they doing now? Aish.

"Yeri! Go open the door for them." Unnie Sooji said as she nudged my shoulder. I shrug and open the door.

"WAHHHH! YERI-SSI WE DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD RAP!"

"And sing!"

"And dance so well!"

They all said their compliments. I just look down on the floor blushing HARD. Then someone suddenly held onto my arms. "Guys let's stop. You know that Yeri is shy and can't take compliments right?" Joshua~ thank god my bestfriend is here to save me. "Mian" They all said in unison. "Aniya, gwaenchanha. I'm sorry i'm just too shy." I said trying to avoid eye contact.

"Yeri, wanna go get some ice cream?" Joshua whispered in my ear. I almost shouted in agreement. i LOVE ice cream. "Ne ne! Can we go? Like, right now?" I said like the most excited kid. He chuckled at my actions. "Of course." He smiled at me and i smile back.

"Yah! Where are you two going?" Jeonghan asked suspisciously. "To the ice cream parlor." Joshua and i said at the same time. "Arasseo. Bring back some for us too okay?" He said. "Hyung, can i go with them?" Jun asked as the three of us stare at him in confusion. "Waeyo? Is there something you need to buy?" Jeonghan asked looking at Jun.

"A-aniyo, i just- i think- maybe i could- Aish nevermind. You can go now." Jun said. Then he looked at me and smiled weakly. I smile at him. Then i saw him secretly glaring at Joshua. Weird.

We went to the ice cream parlor near Pledis Ent. Building and ordered 18 cups of ice cream for the svt members, and Eclipse members. We then hurried back because it was melting.

"Yeri let me help you." Jun said as he quickly snatched 4 cups of ice cream from the 8 cups i managed to hold. "Kamsa, Jun" He nodded in return.

All of us enjoyed the ice cream and chatted with eachother.

It's a good thing to see everyone closer.
