chapter 12: second family?

"Yeri? Oh my god hyung she's freezing cold but her forehead is so hot!"

I heard someone say with a hint of panick in their voice. Why did the person say hyung? Is there a guy in the dorm? I slowly open my eyes but immediately closing them because i thought i was gonna be blind. The curtains were moved out of the way so the light entered my room freely.
"Shit! It's so bright." i say to myself.

"Hey, hey. Yeri calm down. Seungkwan, close the curtains please." i heard the voice say. Omg. I realize now. Seventeen are in the dorm! Ughh why am i like this, seriously. I heard a "ne hyung" from seungkwan then shortly after that, everything was back to normal again. There was no more brightly shining light but instead a comforting dim light. But then i felt a sudden pang of pain in my forehead and i couldn't feel my body. It was so cold. I touched the extremely painful headache on my forehead. "G-Guys? Why is it so cold? And why does my headache hurt like hell?" i asked whoever was in the room with me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw 11 boys in my room. They all looked relieved that i finally woke up while worry was still visible from their faces. But wait. Why is there only 11 of the boys?

"Oh, Mingyu is cooking food downstairs and i made jun buy medicine for you." wow. He just read my mind. "Good thing you're already awake, yeri-ssi. you got us all worried." Jeonghan said then carefully tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. I suddenly felt like crying. I don't know why, but i just felt so loved. Maybe it's because i missed my family and my best friend.

"Omo! Why are you crying? Did i say something wrong?" jeonghan worriedly asked as he wiped the tears off my face. I shook my head immediately. "Aniyo. Sorry for crying. It's just that i missed my family and friends back home. I just feel so loved and treated like family when i'm with you guys. Thank you so much." i said and cried even more. Jeonghan hugged me and patted my back. He didn't let go until i did.

"AWWWW. Yeri don't cry! You're making us cry too." Seungkwan said and fake cried which made me giggle.

"ULGO SIPJI ANHA" Seokmin suddenly said and he danced the choreo to their song in a silly way. These boys never fail to make me smile.

"Hahaha. Okay, okay. But seriously though, thank you guys so much for treating me like family." I said as i pull out of the hug and i looked at all of them. They smiled. "Of course, anything for our baby sister." Seungcheol said.

Then someone opened the door. We all look at the person which was panting and trying to catch his breath.

"OH MY GOD HOW IS SHE THE LINE AT THE PHARMACY WAS SO FREAKING LONG I HAD TO USE MY LOOKS TO GET PAST THE PEOPLE AND FANS EVEN STOPPED ME TO TAKE PHOTOS SO I DID AND THEY STARTED INCREASING SO I HAD TO RUN AWAY FROM THEM AND I HAD TO RUN TO THE DORM-"

"Jun, dude. Calm down! You're sweating." Woozi said and he motioned for jun to sit down. He sat down at a cute blue beanbag in my room. "Oh sorry. I was just so shocked. Here's the medicine, jeonghan hyung." he said like nothing happened then handed the medicine to jeonghan. "Gomawo." he said. (GOMAPDAAAAAA hahahaha okay i'll stop now, don't hate me pls ily)

"Here. Yeri, take the pill. It's for your headache. You actually have a fever." he handed me the pill and i took it. Then he handed me a glass of water.

"thanks" i said. "umm.... jeonghan... can you hand me another blanket? It's on the white drawer on the bottom." i said shyly. He just smiled and went to the drawer. He gave me the blanket and i added it to 2 blankets i already had when i woke up.

"guys, the soup is cooked. let's go?" mingyu said as he entered the room and placed down the soup in my side table. "yes, we should get going now. yeri, sadly we need to go right now because we're preparing for our comeback. i hope you understand. eat the soup and drink your medicine, alright? We gotta go now. Thank you for last night and get well soon. Bye." s.coups said as he quickly fist bumped me. I nodded and said my thank you and goodbye. They all went out and left the dorm.

I closed my eyes and opened them again. I slowly sat up to grab the soup and started eating it. It tasted so good. Similar to what mom makes back home.

After i finished eating, i put the bowl back down and took the pill. I then wanted to rest so i slept and took a nap.

Then i woke up. I saw jun. He was smiling, and i was smiling too. We were holding hands and we were walking to somewhere i wasn't familiar with. Then i heard voices behind us. "Guys! Wait up." We both looked back and saw the seventeen boys. They were happily running to us. We were all laughing and having fun. But then the sun disappeared. The skies turned black. It all went black. I looked only to find out that he wasn't there anymore. By my side.

"Jun"

"Jun?"

"JUN! SEVENTEEN?!" i asked scared to be lonely. I felt fear and panic devour me. Then i heard laughs. They were all suddenly around me. They were looking at me devilishly. They weren't the old guys i knew that treated me like a sister, but they were treating me like a rival. Then what happened next broke my heart. Jun went to me and slapped me. He laughed as he started throwing punches.

I cry as blood dripped down my face and my blood also was all around his hand. The other boys also went to me and followed jun. They all started punching me and hurting me until i couldn't breathe.

"No."

"NO!" I scream as i open my eyes and see my room. It was a nightmare. I felt so scared that i started sobbing. I hid under my blankets and i dug my face under a pillow and cried.

Then someone entered the room.

"Yeri? What happened? Why did we hear you scream?" i didn't respond and continued crying. It was unnie sooji. She quickly noticed that i was crying so she hugged me tight and comforted me. "Sweety, why are you crying? Tell me everything please. I am so worried."

"Seventeen. The-They took care of me. But all of a sudden they left me, and they hurt me and killed me. I had the worst nightmare unnie. Otteoke?" i said trying to control my sobs. "Oh my god. Please stop crying, it was just a dream. They would never leave you and hurt you, okay? And if they do, we're always here for you." she said softly. I hugged her tighter and cried until i couldn't cry anymore.

I pull out from the hug. "thank you unnie. I don't know what i would do if you weren't here for me. I love you."

"i love you more, Ri."

Then i fell asleep again because sleep is life. Hahahaha. Jk.
