"What are you watching?" I asked Kim when I found her sitting on the couch and watching something on the television.
"News."
She answered.
"Ohh." She started. "Did you know that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum have separated?!" She asked me that made me surprised.
"Wait, what?!" I asked while leaning on the top of the couch.
"Yeah they said, 'Love is an adventure', blah blah blah's and shit." She said with irritation but then someone knocked on the door.
Since I'm already standing, I jogged to the door and opened it. Then, Garrett welcomed me with a warm smile.
"Garrett! Come in!" I invited him inside while he entered and I closed the door. I made him sit on the couch.
"You feeling better now?" He asked me.
"Yes, I do actually. A few more beauty rests and I'm ready to work again." I said that made him chuckled.
While we were talking, the door opened and entered Zayn with a girl wearing a formal outfit and has a dirty blonde hair. Zayn closed the door and walked in the house until he noticed the guest.
"Garrett." Zayn greeted him.
"Nice to see you again. Anyways, this is Jessica. One of my..." He paused for a second to looked at me. "... employees."
I can't help to roll my eyes by the usage of that word. She waved her hand to us that Garrett returned with a smile while I return a nod.
"May I use your bathroom, sir?" She asked.
"Sure. Kim."
Zayn called Kim then she stood up and guided 'Jessica' to the bathroom. Zayn sat on the couch close to me while he loosened his tie and unbuttoned two buttons of his white dress shirt. His tattoos caught my attention but I removed my eyes off it. His eyes met mine but I avoided it, earning a smirk from him.
"Still doing the quiet judging, I figured." Garrett broke the silence and spoke.
"Did I? I didn't notice." I said with tease that made me earn a light punch from Garrett on my arm.
"Do you really have a fever? You're still a b*tch." He joked that made us chuckled.
Then, another man entered the house. He entered that made me and Garrett stood up.
"Hi." He awkwardly greeted us.
"Jennie, this is Brandon. Brandon, this is Jennie and that's Zayn." Garrett introduced him to us. I grinned at Garrett before greeting the guy back.
"Hi, Brandon." He smiled at me then whispered to Garrett's ear. He nodded and looked at us again.
"Nice to meet you, Jennie. I'll just wait outside." He said.
I nodded then he exited the house. I looked back at Garrett with a smirk forming my lips. "What's with the evil smirk?" He asked innocently.
"Garrett Oakland, you're f*cking another guy?!" I asked, raising my voice a bit louder. He rolled my eyes before answering.
"How dare you say that?" He asked, acting offended that made me laughed.
"We just met when you got sick. We haven't..." He trailed off, not wanting to continue the sentence.
"... suck each others' d*cks." I finished that made him laughed.
"Bye, Jen. Love ya." He bid goodbye and raised his hand. I accepted it and we had a high five.
"Bye, love ya too." I replied while walking him out. "Use protection!"
I shouted that made me received a dirty finger from him.
I closed the door and went to the living room and sat on my seat earlier.
"What d'you think of my employee?" Zayn asked me with tease and smirk on his lips.
"Look, I don't give a damn to your employees. It's not like I'm the one who's going to f*ck them while my girlfriend's working in a different country." I said without throwing him a gaze.
"You're such a b*tch." He said that made me chuckled.
"I'll take that as a compliment." I said and fake a smile.
I was taken aback when he pecked my lips without saying anything. He sit up straight again like nothing happened and as if on cue, Kim and Jessica went back.
Jessica sat beside Zayn and smiled at me. I gave her my sweetest pretend smile before Zayn spoke.
"Now, let's talk business." Zayn started while placing his hand on Jessica's thigh. I rolled my eyes before standing up and going up to my room.
