THE THREE TEENS WERE SITTING IN THE TREEHOUSE, LETTING ALLISON LOOK AROUND.

"You guys never got the chance to tell me anything." The Argent stated from her spot at the window. Scott raised an eyebrow at the girl, causing her to continue. "At my house, when we were studying."

Adelyn hummed. "Yeah, okay. What do you want to know?" She picked up an old lacrosse ball, tossing it at the werewolf. He caught it, a smile tugging at his lips when he realized what it was.

They had engraved their initials and the date they built this place into it. It was such a small thing, Scott was surprised none of them had lost it. "How did you guys meet?" Allison pulled him out of thought.

"Well, you'd think it'd be something cliche, but it really isn't. It's sad." Addy sighed, the memory beginning to fill her thoughts.

"You don't have to tell me." Allison quickly said after hearing her tone of voice.

"No, it's okay." Adelyn smiled at her.

June 6th, 2005

The Tate family had lost three of it's members almost two years ago. Adelyn was alone at home, the nine year old sitting quietly in her room. Her dad was always working, it keeping him distracted from the empty home.

The girl was more alone now than ever, her best friend basically disappearing a couple weeks ago. She had no clue where he had gone, but what confused her is that he didn't say goodbye. She really missed him, this being the boy who cheered her up after the accident.

She came up with a plan, she was going to go after him. There was really nothing else for her to do, as she had nobody left. Her father was never around, her mother and sisters had passed away. She didn't really think it was doing her any good by being here, alone.

The girl left her bedroom, carrying a small backpack with snack and the bear her friend had gotten her for her birthday.

She walked in a random direction, not really sure where she was going at all. Time seemed to slow as she continued to walk, exaustion settling in the child. She stopped when she saw a car slow down, scared because her mother had always warned her of 'stranger danger.'

"Hi sweetheart. Are you lost?" A dark haired woman asked, getting out of the vehicle. She shook her head quickly. "Well, where are you going?"

The backdoor of the car opened as two boys hopped out. "Mom! I wanna go home, please!" The taller boy of the two said as they made their way to them.
