ADELYN WAS HEADING BACK TO THE SCHOOL. Currently, she was wishing she would've just told Stiles that Derek was alive so he'd come get her. She hadn't checked her phone since before her conversation with the werewolf, ignoring the device's buzzing for the time being. She closed her eyes and huffed when it went off again, the girl clearly being needed back at the school. She pulled her phone from her pocket, seeing messages from basically all of her friends. She decided to read Stiles' texts first:
I need you to change my name to Biles in your phone.
Where are you?
Did you go home?
Adelyn
Addy
I'm just going to assume you're dead in a ditch
She sighed, typing a message back: Not dead yet, Biles. Yes, I went home but I'm coming back.
You okay?
She responded with a 'fine', then opened her texts from Scott:
Where are you?
Are you okay?
I need to talk to you.
Please.
Adelyn ignored the pit forming in her stomach and replied: I went home for a bit, but I'm on my way back. I'll be there in a minute.
Okay.
She furrowed her eyebrows in worry at the vague answer, then responded to Allison's message, her's being the last one: I really really need you and want to talk. Come over later tonight?
I'll be there.
The Tate slid her phone back into my pocket and huffed when it buzzes again. "God, give me a break." She pulled it back out and tilted her head at the name.
It was from Isaac: I feel like I probably should have done this sooner, but do you want to hang out again some time? I really want to be friends with you, but I honestly forgot you even gave me your number.
Sounds fun.
He responded: Cool. (Also I really need help in chem)
