「THIRTY FIVE」

ADELYN KNOCKED ON THE ARGENTS' DOOR, KNOWING CHRIS DIDN'T MIND HER BEING AROUND NOW. The huntress wouldn't have called her here if it wasn't safe. Argent opened the door, giving her a tight smile. "Listen, I know you're here to talk to Allison, but I need to talk to you first."
"Are you going to lead me to your basement and kill me?" She inquired, making Argent blink at her a couple times to make sure he had heard her correctly. Every time they had a conversation, she seemed to confuse the hell out of him.
"No?" He answered in a confused tone, opening the door completely to let her in.
"That didn't sound like a direct answer, Father Crossbow." The girl tilted her head at him as he shut the door behind her.
"What did you just call me?" Argent turned around and squinted at her. At this point, even if he didn't want to, he cared for the girl. She had done everything she could to protect his daughter and he was grateful. He just wished that his wife would had seen her the same way.
"That's the nickname you've had since I found out you were a hunter." She explained as if it were common knowledge.
"You know what? Whatever." He shook his head, not understanding this Tate at all. "Listen, I know the truth about why Derek bit Victoria, but Allison doesn't." Chris sighed, giving her a questioning look.
"I don't intend on telling her, if that's what you're asking." Addy said quietly, empathizing with the man. The teenager knew better than anyone what it was like to lose a family member and he had lost his sister and his wife in a short amount of time. She couldn't help but feel for him.
"That's all I needed." He nodded, looking down to the floor. He knew that this had torn the girls' friendship apart, and couldn't help but feel guilty for not preventing it. But Argent didn't want Allison's last memory of her mother to be a negative one. Specifically, one of her trying to kill her daughter's friend. "Thank you, Adelyn."
She smiled sadly at him before turning and walking up the stairs towards Allison's room. The Tate hesitated to knock on the door. She wasn't sure where her friendship with the Argent was at. The huntress had done some pretty shitty things, but it's not like she wasn't manipulated into doing it.
Before her fist hit the door, the door opened, revealing the aforementioned Argent. Adelyn face turned slightly red as she pulled her hand down, since she was caught having second thoughts about talking to the girl. Allison stared at her for a moment before stepping to the side, allowing the Tate to come in.
The huntress shut the door, taking a deep breath before she turned around and looked at the werewolf. "I'm sorry."
"I am too." Addy admitted. To be fair, she had never hurt anyone not supernatural, except for Stiles. Maybe she should lighten up on him too.
