SCOTT AND ADELYN RECRUITED STILES TO GO BACK TO THE BUS WITH THEM. "Hey, no, just me. You both need to keep watch." Scott exclaimed as the teens walked up to the fence. Adelyn and Scott had gotten Stiles to pick them up from the preserve, neither of the teens uttering a word to each other since the Hale house. The car ride was uncomfortably silent, other than Stiles who had asked a bunch of question.
"How come I am always the guy keeping watch?" Stiles asked annoyingly.
"Because there are three of us." Scott went to climb the fence, stopping when Adelyn was forced to grab Stiles to keep him from following.
"Okay, why is it starting to feel like you're Batman and I'm Robin?" He pointed at Scott, before pointing his finger at the Tate, "Is she Catwoman?"
Addy shoved his hand down, only answering his first question. "Because, you're human and he's a werewolf, dumbass."
"I don't want to be Robin all the time." Stiles whined.
"Nobody's Batman, Robin, or Catwoman any of the time." Scott groaned, rolling his eyes.
"Not even some of the time?" The boy pleaded, earning a blank look from the other two.
"Just stay here!"
"Oh, my god. Fine." Stiles gave in, walking back to the jeep.
"Be careful." Adelyn directed, earning a nod from the beta. She turned on her heel, following the Stilinski back to his jeep. They both got in, watching the werewolf climb the fence.
"Did something happen?" Stiles asked, breaking the silence over the two.
The girl threw a glance at him, before clearing her throat "What do you mean?"
"You and Scott. You've both been acting strange since I picked you up."
"Uh, I dunno. Would you have been upset if you were the one in Scott's dream?" She raised her eyebrows, to which he shook his head. He drummed on the wheel with his fingers for a second, thinking.
"No, not strange, like, angry. I mean, just, tension." He looked up at from his hands.
"What's the difference?"
"Well, uh, there's different kinds of tension, Adelyn."
She furrowed her eyebrows. "Which one is it then?"
"Well, uh, you see, there's sexual tens-" The boy doesn't get to finish his sentence when they spot someone approaching the bus that Scott was on. He began to honk the horn frantically, Adelyn hopping into the backseat.
He stopped honking, seeing Scott running their direction. "We're gonna continue that conversation sometime." The girl nodded as Scott hopped into the vehicle.
