APOLLO BARKED AS ADELYN APPROACHED HER HOUSE. She opened the door, hearing a heartbeat inside that she assumed to be her father's. The girl walked into the kitchen to feed the dog, noticing a yellow sticky note on the refrigerator.

'Business trip. Be back in three days, love you.'

She pulled the note off, staring at it for a few moments to make sure she read it right. Her dad was gone, but she was not alone in her house. She looked down at Apollo, who was happily eating the dry dog food she had given him. He hadn't realized there was someone else here, confusing her even more. The dog was always on top of people who weren't either her or her father, he even hated Scott and Stiles.

The girl listened for the heartbeat, walking slowly towards it. She winced every couple steps, still feeling the effects of all the pain she had taken. Her claws came out as she stopped in front of her door, the heartbeat leading to her bedroom.

The girl swung her door open, ready to attack whoever was behind it. The person flinched at the action as they stuck their hands out in defense. "Please, don't attack me."

"Isaac, what the hell are you doing?" The girl shouted at him, breathing heavily as she tried to slow her own heart rate. "You scared the hell out of me."

"I'm sorry." He scratched the back of his head. "I just wanted to check on you."

"Check on me?" The Tate repeated, confused.

"Yeah, Derek told me what happened." Isaac started, plopping on to the girl's bed. "At the school with Jackson. Erica's still knocked out, so I thought I'd make sure you were all right. Especially since we're pack members now." The Lahey grinned cheekily at the girl, who rolled her eyes.

She sat next to him, "I'm fine, thanks for stopping by. You should go now."

"Oh, come on. I'm getting kind of tired of Derek." He stood up quickly as she tried to kick him out. "Please, don't make me leave yet." The boy pouted as the door creaked open. Apollo waltzed in, walking towards the teens. He jumped up and forced Isaac to pet him, making Adelyn squint at the two.

"That's weird." She mumbled as the dog started to pant happily.

"What is?" Isaac tilted his head as he pushed the dog off of him. The boy sat on the floor next to him, the dog instantly laying in his lap as Isaac continued to pet him.

"He's never liked anyone but me and my dad." She raised her eyebrows, "He even hates Stiles."

"I guess we have something in common then." He chuckled, looking at the dog.

"Oh, shut up." The girl laughed quietly, "Stiles isn't that bad."

"To you. I'm not sure how you stand him, honestly. Also, he hit me with a chair." Isaac shrugged, before blinking in thought. "You know, you never showed me those drawings." He stated, remember the conversation they had a long time ago. He thought it would be a good way for him to stay longer.
