-Tayla's POV-
It has been over a month since my nearly being stabbed by my "friend" and things couldn't be better. After Madison had been taken by the police we all had to go down to the station and give a formal account on what had happened. I told them about her breaking into my room, spray painting my car as well as running me over and of course her almost stabbing me. She was charged with multiple charges and would have to go to a juvenile prizon as well as getting psychiatric help. Matt, Shay, myself and my parents had to go to the trial as well which was honestly quite scary. I had to stand infront of the whole court and recount every detail of ever incident. I was assured after the trial that I would never have to see Madison again.
So now here we are. The three of us eating lunch at our usual table. I almost feel like nothing has changed, all except I have almost been killed a few times, have my best friend living with me and am Matt's girlfriend. We talk, we laugh and we fight but that's us.
"Promise me neither of you will never run me over with a car," I held out my pinky, "No matter how bad things get promise me that you will never spray paint my car or try to stab me."
"Come on Tay we can't promise that!" Matt chuckled.
"Yeah seriously," Shay laughed loudly.
I glared at them seriously and they both looked at eachother before smiling and linking their pinkys with mine. We exchanged a laugh and untwined our fingers. My life hadn't been simple but in the end I had a great family, a best friend and an amazing boyfriend. So Madison thank you, for making me a stronger person and for showing me how tough I really can be.
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read my short book. This is obviously not great but I thought I would start somewhere and give it a shot. I am planning to write some more books and will hopefully develop more in my writing and plot :)
