A kindergarten class had a homework assignment to find out about something exciting and share it to the class the next day.

When the time to present came, the first boy called upon walked up to the front of the class, and with an expo marker, made a dot on the white board and sat back down.

Puzzled, the teacher asked him what it was.

"It's a period." Said the little boy.

"Well I can see that." Said the teacher.

"But what's so exciting about a period?"

"Damned if I know." Said the little boy. "All I know is that this morning my sister said she was missing one, daddy had a heart attack, mummy fainted, and the guy next door shot himself."
